That's amazing! They actually put DVD art and inside sleeve art! They even went so far as to delete Shredder from the picture so that the little hole in the middle and his body wouldn't mesh together! Either there are some folks there who love TMNT, or this is a high-quality company in general! I should think about making my own TMNT Turtles Forever cover...

Is it really the uncut version?

Gah, why can't this be released in the US (or at least as a Region 1 DVD)!

Are you from the UK? From what I remember, the back design looks different from the intended 4Kids release of this.

What's that "BEST MEDICINE" label mean on the DVD disk and back cover?

I don't like the back cover at all. Oh well, maybe the US version will get it right if they release it.

This is what it was suppose to look like (US style)

That's the distributor. Even though Paramount's UK beanch has released previous Nickelodeon DVDs, this one is a non-profit that specializes in comedy. They release a lot of Comedy Central programs as well.

If people would bug Nick about it, maybe they would make a U.S. release about this.

But of course, nobody bothered to ask them anything DVD related at the Nick event...so...

In the past, yeah, I've sent e-mails to both Lionsgate and Nick but no real response. Other people here have more inside connections though, so that's why they have a better shot than a random person.

Honestly, at the Nick event did anyone ask them what their plans for the 4kids series was? Like when its going to air on Nick? Or if any DVD sets will be released?

No. We didn't ask. You know why? Becaus that wasn't what the event was about. Why the hell would we ask about old content only you care about on this level about, when the entire day was about the new show?

Besides, we were trying our best not to come off as tremendous douchebags. Not that you'd know anything about that.

Nick spent $10 million specifically on the purchase of the 4kids series. Quite a bit of money spent on an old show if they weren't planning on doing anything with it.

Likewise they know fans would be happy to spend money on DVD sets.

It's stupid, I know. They could at least have allowed 4Kids to continue airing and distributing 2K3 episodes until the 2K12 show started airing (it'd make sense if Nick didn't want competition between 4Kid's show and theirs).

Maybe they're waiting until the new show debuted before they release any 4Kids stuff...saturate the market baby!

Of course. My hand simply slipped from the 0 all the way to the 1.

That's an interesting theory, Jester.

Sadly, I do not support it. I think Nick will do - nothing - with 2K3 at all.

Turtles Forever was classified by Paramount Home Entertainment for a DVD release in Australia in the future too. It will be the uncut version, judging by the runtime of 81 minutes.

Paramount Home Entertainment usually classify their DVD release several month ahead of time, so hope it will be released later this year in Australia.
