Well if not this comic con, maybe next year. I am actually expecting more about the comic book at this comic con, considering the comic starts the month after. The cartoon will still have over a year until it's on TV so I would assume the big push to promote it would be next summer.

If I remember right they actaully did have concept art and action figures for shredder. I think they have concept art for the Kraang. I would ask Vaughn to pitch u up a sketch of what he saw. (If he is allowed, I think they gave everybody the green light) He also described the the Kraang as Evil/Creepy Squidbilly.

They haven't showed any pictures because the show isn't even close to being done. Last we heard it comes out in over a year.

Hey, you’re not going to believe this, but Playmates Toys has a page devoted to the new TMNT reincarnation. It was awesome! It gave out the mini character bios for each turtle. It appears they are going to be the same (I’m just hoping Leo is not too self-doubting like he was in the 2k3 series). I am looking forward to this show already. I wish it came out this year.

But this is funny: Playmates wrote, “In 2012, Nickelodeon will launch a new movie and Playmates Toys will offer a line of new action figures.” What about the series? Is it still in production?

It must be, because if Nickelodeon showed a preview of that in their future programing commercial, it’s gotta be happening!

I REALLY hope those character bio's represent what the guys are going to be like and are not some generic throw together from what Playmates knows of the characters personalities in previous versions.... because they all sound pretty perfect!

Anyways I'm glad we finally have a higher res version of that pic, though now Mikey looks terrible there. I hope their personalities aren't too close to 2k3, I already saw too much of that, especially with how overdone they were in 2k3. And god I hope Mikey is not a retard and Raph such a meathead.

I wouldn't mind a few 2k3 personality uses. I just don't want it to be overdone on this series. I'm seriously hoping they don't make Mike too idiotic on this show, but maybe Raph as a hothead is what makes the franchise works. Also, I love Leo, but I'm truly hoping that he has a little self-dout, and not too much of it, on this series.

Just curious why you would want this when for the most part with the exception of Mikey their personalities is 2k3 are pretty much their personalities in the comics, I can completely understand wanting Mikey to not turn into the awful caricature of himself that he turned into in later seasons... but 2k3 was the Turtles original personalities. (For the most part)

As for Leonardo and him doubting himself, that's pretty much every version of Leo. You can't have a character that puts such high expectations on himself and not have him suffer from self doubt at times. It's how Leonardo learns things!

That great! then tell him post a sketch of Shredder and Kraang here. at least it will give us an idea on how they will look on the new series

That's why I said I wanted him to be a little self-doubting, so he still can learn some valuable lessons. It's too much of that doubting that reminds me of Peter Parker not wanting to be Spiderman anymore that annoys me. I don't mind if he has a few crisises of confidence. But I just don't want it to be used a lot. I don't know. Maybe, I won't mind on this series. Hopefully, he won't sound that whiney anymore.

Truth is: I would have prefered that he didn't throw a tantrum for not understanding a lesson, or growing a dark side that lasted 13 episodes. I did like those elements used on that show, I was just not happy how it draged on, though. So I'm really waiting for a more confident Leonardo, with a few arrogance, who is humble, responsible, and knows he's not perfect and that it's not always a big deal. That's all.

I could even handle Mike from like the first couple seasons of 2k3, he had his annoying moments but he also had some really good, sensitive or creative moments. He had a bit more balance. Pretty much everything before he won the Battle Nexus

Most people I know IRL like Mikey because he was the stupid party turtle. The only people I know who complain about Mikey being stupid are the people on this forum.

Or just people who are fans of the comics in general. I have friend's that are not on this forum that also feel like way because they have read the comics and seen what the character can actually be when treated with respect.
