Maybe I'm wrong but I think you misinterpreted that. What I got from it was that he wasn't trying to copy Barry's voice.

I definitely interpreted it the same way as Jester. It was completely about not wanting to take the role from Barry had he wanted or been offered it. He never mentioned anything about not trying to copy Barry's version of Donatello's voice.

Am I interpreting that correctly? I mean, was there any talk about getting Barry? If so, have they bothered approaching Cam yet?

I don't think they approached any one but Rob, judging by the podcast. He asked about Barry, and they said they specifically wanted him. I want to say that Cam Clarke said they flat told him not to waste his time...which is kinda sad to me.

Barry or Townsend too. Maybe they will get guest roles or something. Not using them at all in Turtles Forever was a massive missed opportunity. Nick is pretty moronic to not even give them a chance.

My take on whatever TMNT event is going to happen at Comic-Con this year is that it will be a private event that will require a ticket of some type to get in. But we'll have to wait and see to know for sure.
