Voicechasers.com has updated TMNT to include Andrea Romano as Voice Director.

Any word on who the casting director is?

I ask because IMDB seriously has no "voice director" credit....best I could give her would be casting director...

I would recommend listing her as "miscellaneous crew" then putting "voice director" in parentheses.

Okay, guys, I just found THIS in the June 30, 2011 issue (copy) of the USA Today newspaper, in the "Life" Section (Section D), on the very back page (Page 8D), in the extreme upper right hand corner, next to a pic from (I'm assuming ) the "Avatar: The Last Airbender" spinoff, "The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra" (which looks AWESOME, btw!):

"This fall, look for a new version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".

There was a bit MORE to that sentence, but it was about another series entirely, and I didn't think it relavent to the new Nick TMNT series, so I excluded it here.

Anyway, what do y'all think? Myself, I don't think that they're talking about the 2K12 CGI TMNT series, but about the 2K3 one from 4Kids, but I don't know. (THAT series ISN'T really what I'D call "new"; it's just going to be new to Nickelodoen and it's viewers.

Like I said, any thoughts on this?

(Oh, and if this does NOT go here, would Krang or one of the Mods please move it to the RIGHT one? I though about starting up a new thread for it, but then thought, "Nawwwwww".)

Okay, but bro, not that I don't believe you (or this link), but I'm looking right AT said article right now (got the paper right at my left arm on the computer desk where I'm at), and it DEFINITELY says "THIS Fall", as in Fall 2011. WHY is the article on USA Today's website so different (slightly so, in terms of wording) than the one in the paper version?!

Ooooooo, as Mikey in the 2K3 series was fond of saying when he was mega-confused about something, "My brain hurts!"

Nope, you're right, it's isn't yet. I don't know what's up with the discrepencies between the dates on the two versions of USA Today, but rest assured that I'll continue to paost things that I find about this.

Full production of the show only started last week, so there's definitely nothing coming this fall.

Was going to say much of the same, I used to work at a newspaper here in Australia and the amount of mistakes I found would surprise people. It's funny what happens when an editor asks a journalist to write a story about something they have no idea about. Here's the latest one I found. When the paper was writing about 'X-men - first class' They not only wrote that Hugh Jackman was the lead actor but the picture they printed was of 'X-men origins - Wolverine'! Not all Journalists are bad, but man there are a fare few that are making it bad for the good ones.
Curse them for getting you excited a year early I say!

Seriously, Clancy Brown as the Shredder and Sabrina Le Beauf as April. I know she's black, but she could do her voice pretty well. When I write the "High School Dream Script," I picture her saying her lines.

Still, why is Casey Jones not going to be in the first season? I'm going to assume, but they wanted to give him some time to come on. Personally, without Casey, it doesn't bother me. The show is about the four turtles, which includes a rat and a girl. With Casey, there'll be too much of a love story than action and adventure. That may be why. If so, Nick's making a smart move.

This is a ninja show, not a soap opera.

If there's just a lot of mindless action going on, that might be fun for 3-4 episodes, but c'mon.....

I guess you're right. I just feel that sometimes Casey slows the show down a bit, which is kind of a drag. I wouldn't mind if there was a love story for the turtles, but I guess we do need Casey.
