Were April and Irma roommates in the OT?

Is it just me or do some episodes of the OT make it seem like Irma was living in April's 4-story building? There are definitely some eps where Irma is sleeping over in April's apartment even, but I can't tell if she actually truly lived there.

Does anyone know if we specifically see Irma living in a different place at any point of the series? Because it really did feel like Irma was April's either roommate or next door neighbor.

I don't remember, I thought Irma had her own place though. I always thought they were best friends so Irma always hung out at April's.

I'd have to rewatch the series, but off hand I remember New York's Shiniest, Catwoman From Channel 6, and Case of the Killer Pizzas as episodes where they seem to at least be neighbors...

This is what I was thinking of...they seemed next door neighbors at least in Season 2....maybe that changed as the show progressed.

I always thought they just lived in the same apartment building. From season two on.

In season one April's old apartment building gets destroyed so I'm guessing April moves into Irma's apartment building.

Didn't she have that loser who sang & played piano over at her place once or twice?

That was Howie and she went to his place, not hers. His was a studio if I recall, while Irma's was a normal apartment.

Yeah, I think neighbors probably make the most sense. More often than not, April is in her apartment without Irma, who might come in from across the hall.

I don't have any memory of April or Irma ever stating that they live in the same building. However, I don't ever recall anything to contradict them as possibly having been living in the same building. So it could have been that they lived in the same building, or they might not have.

I was just watching the episodes with Howie. I gotta admit I liked it when they were driving in the news van and he sang "I wanna be a hero like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!" That was pretty catchy. Everything else he sang just plain sucked!

That's probably because the lyrics were based off one of the main BGM tunes for the turtles.

I think they might have lived in the same building also whether or not it was ever stated. Season 3's Turtle Terminator has Irma being kidnapped from her apartment by Bebop & Rocksteady, but April shows up unannounced shortly after and informs the Turtles.

They lived in the same building, but different rooms/apartments. She was always seen in her own apartment room across the hall from April's.
