I'm watching Turtles Forever right now, and something dawned on me: Why didn't Shredder's search for the 4Kids universe's other Shredders turn up the Demon Shredder, Cyber Shredder, or even Karai? I mean, the search even brings up "archival footage" which in itself is ridiculous...so it stands to reason the other 3 Shredders would also show up.

EDIT: Also, as far as "dating" the movie within the Fred Wolf continuity, wouldn't Mikey wielding nunchucks be a way of deciding when it happens.

The more I watch this flick, the more I loathe the way the Fred Wolf Turtles are portrayed. I mean things like this:
Casey: You doubles aren't playing with a full deck, are they?
(FW Mikey waps 4Kids Mikey)
4Kids Mikey: And they're really annoying.
Casey: Gotcha, up to speed now...
Really bug me...

I think 4kids Shredder is so sure of himself and pretentious that he is completely confident that he can pull it all off by himself (a classic bad guy trait). Even if he was aware of the rest of the Shredders, he would think himself better and more competent than them anyway. Or maybe the OT Shredder's incompetence just turned him off to all other Shredders.

I agree. I mean, I don't think the Fred Wolf turtles are as cool as the 4Kids turtles - they appeal more to little kids than to teenage/adult fans - but they were just goofy and stupid in this movie. I would have changed the line to something like:

Casey: You doubles aren't playing with a full deck, are they?
4Kids Raph: They ain't hands-down gritty as we are... but they get the job done.
Casey: Gotcha, up to speed now...

Something to imply that they aren't TOTAL idiots.

Also why doesn't Ch'rell's "molecular amplification circuit" cause him to grow? I mean, Krang, as a visible fixture of his exosuit grows with it. Ch'rell on the other hand has a little cockpit in his suit's helmet. I was also gonna ask why ask why Ch'rell crushing the Turtles of the Prime universe didn't cause him to fade...but he does...in the uncut version. Does the US DVD version have Ch'rell's actions causing his own fade out?

You may be right. the angles of the helmet shots make it hard to tell. I guess I'm just used to him being in the torso, not the head. Maybe he is about exosuit head size.

If I remember, after Karai alerts him to this reality, Ch'rell rips off Kevin Nash's Super Shredder from SotO and goes "So BE it!!!"

Maybe Krang already used his "tickle ray." Seriously!? Krang and Shredder had some lame brained schemes, but a "tickle ray"? Did the writers of Turtles Forever even watch any Fred Wold episodes for reference?

Well, the "Nose Knows" was used in one FW episode, wasn't it?

Still, a Tickle Ray is stupid. What about a shrinking ray? That'd work.

That sounds like something Don would say rather than Raph. I just can't imagine him saying that for some reason.

It was called the "Scent Analyzer" in the first Lotus episode. Lotus' elaborate plan includes stealing it from a perfume manufacturer then having it "sniff" the genetic code of turtles so it can track down the lair.

I think they did. "Giggle" sounds funnier than "Tickle" and would fit in with 4Kids' idea of the FW turtles.
