Should I Watch Next Mutation?

My impulse is not to; it looks silly, and I would rather deepen my appreciation of the Turtles by other means.

But it's just one season. Should I watch it?

Depends on how turtle crazy you are.

I'd say yes though. It's really not as awful as some people would have you believe.

If you have the spare time and nothing else to do then I'd say go for it... It's worth a watch...

I'd say watching simply the first five East vs. West episodes with Shredder is good enough to get a "taste" of what the series is about. For the rest of the series, watch them if you want live-action, otherwise, if you've hit a point after watching a few episodes and just weren't impressed, then feel free to move on. After all, this series had no proper finale. However, there are even a few action figures based on NT:TNM.

I'd say yes watch it. Is it silly? sure but so is a lot of the OT and you have an OT avatar. The fifth turtle of all people. Some episodes are more silly than others and some are actually good, I disagree with the five parter there are superior episodes later on in the series. The show also has mostly a unique rogues gallery and all the new villains are pretty cool for the most part, in some episodes they are written silly and poorly and in others you can see they are pretty cool, I'd love to see TNM villains return in another incarnation written better. Fight scenes have slapstick sounds, if you can deal with that and sometimes the villains acting too looney then you can enjoy TNM I think.

Its not very good, but its still watchable.

I think the show would have been 10 times better if:

- There was no silly sound effects during the fight scenes. WTF?

- Venus didn't exist, so it'd simply be a live-action continuation of the movies

- Shredder wasn't handled so badly

Also, 26 episodes was too much. They would have had less stinkers if they'd kept it to 13.

The fact that the show had TWO clip shows said a lot in itself. The show is really only 24 episodes long.

It isn't as bad as people make it out to be. It's worth a watch.

That's pretty much what I used to look like when I was a kid, except I had nunchucks made out of sticks and shoelaces.

Yeah watch it. I did i want back and watched it on the net because I really couldn't remember to much about the show expect how exited i was when it first came out as a little kid. I really think it get a much worse rap then it deserves.
