All of this talk about ballet and generic Kung Fu moves has me thinking: Would anyone else want to see a Kung Fu ballerinas show? It sounds sort of like an untapped opportunity.

About those turtle models: Nothing really impresses me about them, and though it doesn't exactly repel me either, I frankly think that Nickelodeon should be showing us something other than those models if they want us to be optimistic about this show. Their publicity statements have included the claim that their Shredder is the scariest yet, so why not show him? We could use something with more character than we've gotten so far. I also have said in the past that one possible advantage of the CGI is that it allows them to animate fight scenes more easily, and I actually like the unique facial quirks that Mikey and Don have gotten, but we haven't been shown any fighting or any facial expressions besides "Grr; angry turtle smash!"

I know this is gonna sound super ignorant, culturally at least, but doesn't that already exist kinda?
I mean like, oriental stage performances that are a combo of interpretive dance & tai chi... I don't know the name of the stuff.
In a sense, some may even consider Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Kung Fu ballet.

I love how Kung fu panda looks like it's got more care put into it than tmnt.
I seriously hope TMNT has the same amount of texture, detail, & flows as well in the final product.

Yeah, I agree. I think the only reason KFP is done well is because Dreamworks is doing the series, which is a good thing.

About what I expected with the animation, which is OK after you first get used to it, but I'm sure many others will say how it can be improved or what they feel doesn't work properly. I'm almost afraid to see how Splinter/Shredder/April will appear, now that we have a bit more detail with regards to the animation. At least Mike is using his 'chucks.

We have seen him with his nunchucku before its just he and Don have the retractable blad on thier weapons. That would make us believe that not only is it for smashing mousers but robotic foot soliders as well.
