Less than a second of footage is disappointing, but I think we'll see something good during the Kids Choice Awards. Probably a spot during one of the breaks.

Perhaps, but I doubt it. Do you recall how many people said the exact same thing last year? Does Nick even do spots for fall shows during KCA? It just seems to me like there's too big a gap between the awards and the Fall.

I can't speak for these days but back when I watched the station regularly a show debuts following the KCA. I remember CatDog and Angry Beavers and maybe the Rugrats spinoff making their resepctive debuts right after and if not a series premire a season premire. The KCA may have a few more preview clips but if its on track of Thanksgiving wait until maybe summer. It would be nice if it was built up beyond the TMNT display those lucky few got back in late March and a few images us older fans who know where to look get to see.

They didn't show anything last year proabbly becuase the show was in the middle of production and they didn't fell like they had enough ready.

Around 8 months until the show permieres. They gotta get something out there sometime. Might not be the KCA, but definitley around there.

Also, based on the various sneak-preview events that online sources have described, there is plenty of media on the series that they are withholding. It prompts me to ask, what the shell do they have to lose from showing us all this stuff at the moment? Is it just that they're worried about bootleggers stealing their designs to make toys based on them? I'm no economist, but that sounds like a big misassessment to me; they have far more to gain from getting the word out and whettinng people's appetites for their products; otherwise they won't have a big market for them--and neither will the bootleggers whom they're dreading, for that matter.

The relative little we've heard about their show prompts me to ask, whom exactly are they targeting with this new series? Because if we're just talking about adults, I'd say TMNT is much bigger than The Winx Club, and even a good deal bigger than Avatar and Kung Fu Panda. Not treating it as the mass-phenomenom of American culture that it is makes me think that they're only looking at it in terms of kids who up until now knew nothing about the series; kids not just too young to remember the 1987 show, but too young to remember the 2003 show. In other words, I wonder if this show is going to be too immature, and their showing it in the same clip as Dora the Explorer doesn't help matters.

TMNT is not bigger than Kung-Fu Panda and what they showed to people was storyboards. They also showed clips of TMNT alongside iCarly which is one of their biggest hits at the moment, so shut it. They aren't treating it like a worldwide phenomenon because IT ISN'T ONE at the moment.

The show is still being worked on. Calm the hell down. It'll be out when it's out and you'll have all of your answers.

You know you're going to watch anyway.

The art-style is intentionally boxxy and many people are saying the CG sucks because of the art style, KFP uses a different art style. The CG TMNT art style will probably need some getting used to for some people, but I think I'll grow to really like it. Star Wars: Clone Wars got similar criticism when it first came out, not to mention the CG is bound to improve with each season

Thank you. So many people dismiss the relative quality of animation simply because they don't like the way the characters look.

I am thinking of it like the Wii. Its a great more advanced graphic yet in this advanced graphic its just starting to take off and will develop overtime. The first season of the original cartoon had a different desgin than what would be seen for the next six seasons and then for three seasons there was a different design. Each movie had a slightly different design and even BTTS was different from the rest of the TMNT 2003 cartoon so its not likely to last but for so ling especially as graphics advance in 3-D technology. I don't like what I see NOW but it may change for the better when the show starts and we get adjusted to it more.

Ask any kid what Kung-Fu Panda is and they'll probably get real excited to tell you.

The same enthusiasm isn't found with TMNT. Also check the toy sales.

Because there is a KFP show and a new movie came out in 2011 and TMNT hasn't had a show in years, hence no supporting toyline. TMNT is the bigger franchise, no comparison and counting Nick owns it now you can bet it'll be known more than KFP.

I for one love the boxiness of these characters. They're turtles, they aren't meant to be angelically sculpted.
