Yes. You're the only one in the entire world that feels this way. Out of Billions of people you are the sole person with this opinion.

That would've been witty if you were 8 years old.

The first image looks like a school project rather then an actual fit for TV character model

I like the second image a bit better as it's more colorful. The first image isn't too bad, but the second one looks a bit more polished to me.

It happens a lot in fandoms. As one side gets all snippy, whiny, and nitpicky over the smallest little things, anothe side emerges ready to put them in their place and provide a little slap of reality and a harsh voice of reason

You're going to see this happen a lot over the course of the next few months.

Yeah, totally - however, it doesn't make it any less needless or rude.

I love how when anyone calls you out for the obvious hypocrisy you're tossing about you act as if nothing has been said to you.
It seems as if the Zarius who was around at the start of 2k3 is back all over again, and to think you had grown and matured boy was I wrong.
People are going to like things, people are going to also express what they don't like just as you do and are doing suddenly about Peter Laird when you had been one of his biggest supporters until now.

no, no it doesn't. It shows a lot more production value and professionalism then the first model. It got a lot more subtle details, the newer model by the looks of it can make a tons more expressions then the early one. Proper textures, rework on the plastron.

not to mention, if you look really closely on the plastron, at the end part at Raph's neck, it seems like you can see the polygon edges. Which is, at least for me a huge no no, especially if it's an official product. (Seems like the edges of the mask have the same issues)

I've seen such a mistake on a film, and I felt ashamed for the film makers behalf, it's sloppy and amateurish.

Not set aside the low quality textures, the bad lighting. The first model lacks character compared to the new one, and have a very "meh" or unfinished look to it, the muscles don't look properly shaped enough, the head is way too round.

Now don't get me wrong, it's still a fine looking Character Model, probably a lot better then I am able to do with my current modeling abilities. But still, it wasn't fit for official TV or Film works.

Please define how something "looks like something a teenager would draw", because I have known artists who were 16 and better then some professionals.

It's a cartoon, I'm not exactly certain what you are expecting??
