I love the new Krang, but I wish his android body had more color to it. I'm also not too fond of April looking like a Ben10 character, but I still plan on picking her up along with every other figure in this line

I really picked the best time ever to re-enter this fandom!

It's seriously going to be hard not to want to buy these!
I'm not a fan of small figures but I may just cave.

I am seriously loving the new box art!

Splinter close up!

In the MTV videos the guy said they'd be 10 - 11 inches tall, with storage shells

The figures shown in packages don't seem promising for the "Action Figures" detailed paint schemes. Still Sweet though.

Yeah - the promo pics released really are misleading. While the final product is still pretty good, the promos were a definite tease.

HOLY **** THESE ARE AMAZING!!! Mad props to playmates for seriously stepping up their game! From what I see so far, these are NECA league figures. Maybe we'll finally get those awesome playmates 25 anniversary comic style figures that playmates teased us with a few years back.

I plan on buying 3 sets of each. One for my kids, one for me to display, and one for me to keep misb . Man I'm gonna be broke, but it'll be worth it. I'm sure they'll reflect the same $14.95 price range as dcuc, ironman, and ml's.

Wow, I'm still floored at how much playmates stepped up. Lol, playmates just took a massive dump on bandai's new Tcats classics line. These put them to shame.

Most likely these are pics of the hand painted prototypes. Every toy company posts pics like these to show fans before the actual release. A good example is the motu classics line. The posted pic always looks slightly better than the actual figure you'd buy in the store. While it is the example they use for the factory paints, some of the high def details tend to get left out. The skin will be the most noticeable difference. The hand painted flesh has a matte finish while the plastic flesh is glossier. All that said, I'm sure they'll still look great.

I like most of those actually. One can only hope the ones we end up seeing on the shelf actually look like those pictures.

I agree. That was the point i was trying to make. I would gladly pay a more premium price in order to get the higher details if they released them as a more upscale collectors edition!!!!

Also, I am glad shredder is wearing a shirt

Video of classics.

Ugh! *face palm*

Storage shell on an adult collector figure? & 10 to 11 inch figures are you kidding me?
These things are going to tower over anything that pre-exists on the market.
People want their figures to go together.
Does Playmates ever seriously ever do any sort of research before they make things?
I can't stop shaking my head over what this guy is saying.
I'm sorry they look nice but now my interest has seriously dropped in this line.
We're adults we want 100% accurate collector figures not crazy action features.
But perhaps I'm just speaking for myself here....

Wait, so Mikey won't have chains of his chucks for the Nick line? If so, I'm officially PO'd.

Those MTV videos don't work for me. Any idea why?

I'm not too crazy about the April figure. Her neck is too skinny, and her head is too wide. It's the sort of cartoonish design that might work in something like Teen Titans, but when it's put into 3-D it just looks awkward. Everyone else is great, though, including Shredder, who fortunately looks a great deal better than that model on the ride advertisement.

Click on the streaming line, that's what I had to do.
It was messing up for me as well.

Notice that all the turtles weapons that are in package seem to be a simple plastic accessory with no paint... Makes you wonder if they will really have another line with the higher quality paint job/weaopons

Regarding the classic line and storage shell, if you notice in the video when he says storage shell and they show someone opening it, it's one of the new figures with the wraps on the hands. I think there was some misinformation in the video and the 10-11 inch may be the talking turtles from the new cartoon (like the talking movie ones). Just judging from the video in perspective with its surroundings, the classic turtles look to be 6 inch. Here's hoping!

The storage shells are the Nick turtles, at least on the video they look nothing alike the classics in the revealing compartment shot.
