yeah... it is sort of unfortunate that they went out of their way to make him look like anything other than a rat but oh well... i am still ecstatic!

Part of me feels like the nick Shredder looks too much like the 2k3 Shredder. Too much like a body builder in contrast to his OT counterpart.

Ok, I finally got to watch the mtv videos. Anyone else notice the lack of the highly detailed "Action Figures" in the mix of toys....

I'm willing to bet that splinter is a lot scruffuer in the show. I'm sure his figure took a beating due to this...

Hey! Imagine that! Shredder looks different and has a lot more detail than the silver/pink half-rendering everyone's b*tching about!

That was my first thought as well. They're my #1 most wanted figures.

OR?! What?! You can't just buy one turtle, no matter your financial situation.

GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!

OK... so is there definite word on the scale of the classics?

ADC has them on their news page as 6 inch

http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=216&itemid=18236

and I'm sure some previous sources have stated these figures being around 6 inches as well. :/

I am pretty sure that the new Nickelodeon figures will be the only 10" figures. I am basing this off the video, seeing that when they show the hinged shell part, it is clearly from the Nickelodeon style figures, and the figure size next to the hand looks to be pretty large.

I have a feeling Don's tooth is just a story line, he's not going to have it the whole series, so why make the main figure for him have a temporal tooth gap? You really think he'll have a gap in his mouth the whole series?

The only problem I have with these is that they are definitely going to make my wallet sad. And my wallspace.

Looking again at The Kraang, it is pretty obvious that there are definitely elements of Krang and the Utroms in there. It's obviously not just one or the other being stuck with a catch-all name.

I like the new series figures better than the Classics line... Mikey looks awesome. Both sets look great though.

I don't know why, but that Sewer Lair 3 level play set looks like a lot of fun. I feel really stupid saying that, but man if I could fit one of those bad boys in my room (and had the money to afford it) I would! Maybe its the way the have all the action figures set up in it that makes it look so cool?
Nick and Playmate are really going all out on the toys aren't they?!

My review:

Oh my god! I can’t believe this! I can’t believe Nickelodeon is doing this! This is great!

OT line: These look amazing. I can’t wait to have super-poseable turtles in my home!

2k12 line: I love how these look so far! The turles are awesome! By the way, I’ve noticed about Don not having the gap teeth. Still, I wonder why the basic turtle figures don’t have eyeballs. These have got to be prototypes, am I right? Still, they look great! In fact, I think I’m buying the SFX ones, too. Those ones definitely sound cool! Hyyahhh!
The Shredder is now scary! It looks fantastic! Case closed!
Splinter does appear like a badger, but I’ll get used to it.
April looks okay. Love the Foot Ninjas, though. Also, that Krang looks very detailed compared to others we’ve had before.

Oh man. I can’t wait to purchase these! Nick should put out the show now!
