Same here. Although I'm not shy to moving things on or downsizing toy collections either. So far, my toy buying has been a rotational arrangement. If I get anything new I move on something first. I've recently parted with a few things to buy toys for my daughter.

I do feel like indulging quite a bit on this line. Bar, the four Turtles I don't think everything will be released my end of the woods. If anything I reckon the classics will be most likely stay a US only release, much like the anniversary rereleased toys from 2009. These are just assumptions though.

Really excited for the new figures, will def. get teh 4 turtles and Shredder and April etc, from the Nick and classic toons.

But I'm always a little disappointed when these guys show us the new figures. I mean come on, they show us this:

But eventually this is what ends up in the store:

I WANT THE ONE SHOWN AT THE TOP! And I think you al do!

Hey Uki, it is always refreshing to see some familiar faces..um... names

I never had Muckman, never saw him in the 'toon but for some reason he has always been my favourite character from the early line. I guess the names Muckman and Joe Eyeball reminded me of the old Sega game Toe Jam and Earl.

Please tell me Raph that you have the prototype and the final pics the other way round as a rib .

I actually like either.

Hi Hero,

Are you telling me that the less detailed figure is the prototype and that detailed Don is the version that'll end up in stores?/

I mean that never happens, the few figures shown at a Toy con are always more detailed then the ones that eventually are being made for mass production, although I do hope I'm wrong

I've posted a page or so back, that it looks like the less detailed one doesn't have double jointed knees, specifically the joint above the knee pad. Hopefully these are two different figures.

If the second one is a prototype, it would have been nice to have heard that back when this question first came up. This board moved pretty fast when pictures were released, so maybe that part of the conversation was missed.

I said that in jest in suggestion that the less detailed Donny is the prototype, as that version of his toy with more depth obviously isn't.

Ideally we want TMNT toys with a good colour palette and weapons included.

Damn, you got my hopes up there for a moment. If the second image is the final product, I will still purchase a set of turtles, but that's probably as far as I'll go. If the first image is the final product, I'll buy a set and possibly replace my NECA, as well as possibly buying more characters as they are released.

While I wouldn't get my hopes up on the elaborate paint job on the skin tones, it seems like they should at least paint the weapons as opposed to leaving them plain orange. The 2k3 figures all had nicely painted weapons a decade ago.

I'm actually fine if the weapons don't get a better paint job, because I can easily paint that myself. I am not skilled enough to paint the turtles.

I'm not sure where you are getting your info, but it's wrong. The less detailed ones indeed have double jointed knees. It's just the angles of the pics don't show them. I have seen other angles from the toy show where you can see the joint.
