I've often wondered if his resemblance to Etrigan the Demon was what kept him out of the 4Kids series.

That was the lure of classic Nickelodeon. A new episode would often air unexpectedly after so many reruns.

Now, a full episode after the Kids' Choice Awards is still possible given it would act as a pilot, as many new Nick shows have premeired following the KCA. But I'm sure it won't take more than a year, especially given this is a show's first season, to show 26 episodes because you simply don't have much to rerun early in a series' run.

Yeah, they may show the pilot at least once or even a sneak peek after the KCA. That would be really cool if they did.

Well, maybe I'm assuming too much here, but I feel like TMNT is going to have season long story arcs. Most Nickelodeon episodes are mostly one-shot stories, so they probably won't jerk TMNT around like that.

I could live with a schedule like that lol. Very erratic, but getting up to 7 new episodes a week would be sweeeet.

A preview of the pilot would be amazing (UK gets the awards a day after the US, fingers crossed we'd get the preview too).

Does anyone know if Nick releases their shows on Blu-Ray? Depending on the airing delay it might be faster for me to just get them!

I'd prefer if Nick releases proper 2k3 series sets first.

Remember the Nick show will probably also be streamed online for free. We don't need DVDs this quickly.

Have to double check Nick's site but as a general rule the streams are blocked if you don't live in the US, where as Blu-Rays are generally region free. DVDs would be fine as well (all you need then is a multi-region player which was essential for getting all of 2K3 and the OT anyway) but I'm hoping for Blu-Rays.

Good 2K3 sets but not essential as all the episodes are available on DVD (even BTTS and the complete Turtles Forever if you're prepared to import). A complete series on Blu-Ray would be better and that would actually tempt me to upgrade.

Does anyone know if the new TMNT show will start airing in the Greek Nickelodeon chanell too? The 2003 series started at the same time in my country too in the chalel ALTER, and it was transated in Greek language. Now what about the Nick tmnt?

Sure you can get the dvds but its not like they sell those anywhere any more.
What I really wanna see is nick trying to make people think they were the ones who origanally made 2k3, cause lets be honest most fans of 1987 turtles didn't watch that and 2k3 was on a channel that was on about 4 times a month and for only four hours

BTTS isnt on dvd.

The Australian sets are expensive, but worth it if you ask me. I got both halves of season 3, the first half of season 4, and both parts of season 7 from over there.

But no, they don't have season 10. Not yet at least.

Does that equate to it being the best version? Not necessarily. It's all relative to opinions. I happen to like a mixture of both seriousness with comedy throughout.

As do I. I wouldn't mind having some dark tone and some light tone episodes on the show.

. A mixture is the best. Still serious, but with some comedy. That's perfect.
