I was thinking of buying this, but since I have no idea if it's a good deal or not, I'm going to pass, and post it here. Maybe someone could give some info on it.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/120861910050...84.m1423.l2649

In case you don't want to click, it's an unopened Leonardo juice box for $25 BIN. I figured I'd pass, just in case I find a Donatello one one day.

Its difficult to track down such obscure items in terms of value, but in over six months on eBay consistantly looking at TMNT stuff, this is the first one I've seen. But there could always be some people who find them somewhere or out of a warehouse. I'd only pay about $15 at the most given that it may be difficult to sell above this. This is basically just another one of those "if you have to have EVERYTHING made by TMNT, get it" type of items.

That's what I was thinking. I'd love to have it, and if there was a 'Best Offer' button on the listing, I would make one. I'm not worried about reselling it later, but I don't want to overspend on something that doesn't get much when it does sell.

On another note, when you search for TMNT related stuff, do you use 'ninja turtles', or 'tmnt' to search. I've noticed that some items don't have 'ninja turtles', but does have 'tmnt' in the title. I mainly search 'ninja turtles', and occasionally I'll check 'tmnt'.

Like that Donatello Toy Fair figure was listed under 'tmnt', and I never would have even seen it if it wasn't posted on here.

you could always message the seller and ask if they consider best offers- they are able to revise the listings to accommodate that if need be.

I usually hate it when someone posts twice in a row without anyone commenting inbetween, but I have another question.

Seeing the guy that's desperately trying to find a cold cast Donatello statue got me looking at the others on eBay and other places. I really like the Donatello and Raphael statues, with Leonardo being next, and Michelangelo looks good, but seems to be WAY too common to spend over $100 on.

So I'm guessing the Donatello and Raphael are really rare, with Leonardo and Mikey being common? I was thinking about spending the $114 on the Leonardo, but seeing how they're pretty common (the guy selling the one below has sold many at that price), I'm thinking I can get it cheaper on down the road.

Anyone want to confirm what I'm saying? One Donatello statue is on the 'Completed Listings' when I search 'ninja turtles statue', and it sold for over $1,000.

And what's the deal with these 'comiquette' statues going for $500-1,000?

Oh, and I offered the guy $15 for the juice box, and all he said was 'No thank you.'.

What's the deal with this? I'm not at all a fan of an artist selling recent art done in an older style. It could cause confusion.

Actually, I think that's a pretty neat idea!

Of course, any new art from the ol' Mirage guys tends to make me happy, so maybe I'm biased.

Plus, the listing does note that it is "original" from 2011 to avoid confusion.

Nice piece though... at least he dated it 2011, right?

Well, besides me personally not liking it, the layout and everything is almost identical to a similar piece he and Laird did back in the day. I don't know, I'm just not a fan of that sorta thing. Oh well.

I saw it a few days ago, I love it. I see where you're coming from Samhain but I think it's awesome, I mean how many other artists actually CAN emulate their old styles? Very few that I've seen, at least concerning those who worked on the turtles, at least.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great piece. And if I had the extra funds, I would certainly bid on it.

I was going to buy the "Sugar Shock" art when it was on Kevin Eastman's site for $100 plus shipping but now it's on Ebay with the high bidder @ $121. Not getting it anymore.

Given that silver is currently spot for $33.50, this is not a bad buy considering for just $1.50 over, I don't have to travel plus I get a TMNT case that I've posted! Hopefully there isn't a silver crash, and given that this is for TMNT, as long as there is a good fanbase I shouldn't worry too much about this losing value in case there is a long term Bear Market for silver. http://www.ebay.com/itm/200712927664...84.m1439.l2649

Here are some other strange eBay items as of late:

Whatever happened to good old-fashioned music? Sure, it uses the movie logo, but a great way to enjoy some piano sheet music which was once a bigger seller than records.

Only the second so far sighting of the Toy Fair Ninja Turtles exclusives I've seen on eBay, and it's another Donatello. I'm telling you, if it was around $150, I think I'd be tempted to buy one, but it's still too much for me right now.

I just purchased this Leonardo fan club poster 10,919 out of 25,000. Not sure how I did on the price but I thought it was a pretty good deal considering the condition and age.
