Yeah, he also listed it on here. It's over in the 'Buy, Sell, Trade' threads. The $400 in my opinion was a joke. I think one or two people bid so high that even the second highest bidder didn't want to buy it. Unless it gets shill bid (not saying he's like that), I think it will go for maybe $200.

Yeah, $200 is still too pricey for me at the moment. That's why I'd rather have one loose/complete, it would be cheaper, and it's great for display.

Yeah, unfortunately we're gonna' see a lot of this lately... my local comic shop has the original four Turtles (open, no accessories & in rough shape) and they 're asking $20+ dollars for each. Okay, I get that the TMNT are comin' back out and all that... but that doesn't mean people need to price gouge! Granted, it's a great time to pick up anything you missed out on or sell off your hoarded collections, as we're seeing so much more interest in TMNT all of a sudden... but people need to be more reasonable.

Ok, so I don't feel too bad for myself, please, someone tell me I didn't miss out on an amazing deal here.

Giant Krang Body with 4 Original Turtles

I was watching this listing for a while, then had it open in a tab for the last 4 minutes of the auction, but was watching 'Breaking Bad'. I clicked the tab and it was OVER!!! Aaaaaaaagggggghhhhhh!!!! I felt it was a great deal, and was willing to pay about $10 more than the guy that won it.

And anyone see those two Turtles I posted earlier?

I've heard of the Farley Leo Busts but this is the first time I found it on Ebay and it had a BIN option so I jumped on it...not sure if I overpaid. I heard that the production no. was actually less than 500.http://www.ebay.com/itm/330693819680...84.m1439.l2649

I'm no expert on these busts, but I've seen a few of them on ebay selling for quite a bit more than $65. Congrats man!

This thread is not for your own personal auctions, that's what the BST section is for.

I just picked up another set of MIB 2K3 Giant Turtles off eBay... found the auction a few days ago, forgot about it... found it again today and bid at the last second! Nothing special but I LOVE these figures.

Picked up another item from my childhood, the Seltzer Canon. The box looks like it has a little wear but it's still NIB according to the seller. Paid 26.50, the cheapest I could find it recently was around 50.

The first item is a print of Leonardo and Raphael fighting in water in the sewer. The price isn't right for me, but it's a nice looking print.

The second and third items are the mini-figures a guy is selling from Spain I think. I just find them odd.

Print of Leo and Raph fighting in the sewer
Mikey with sword, mini figure
Mini Donatello

Now, since I've been buying TMNT stuff on eBay for a couple of weeks, and there was even a discussion about him on these boards somewhere, it pisses me off that this guy is selling this stuff:

TMNT Cereal w/Holographic Cover: $80? Really?

TMNT Satchel/Messenger Bag: Now THIS really irks me. I've never seen this before, and it's apparently new, but $129?! I REALLY want this bag, but I guess I'll have to put it on my 'Want List' of TMNT merchandise to try finding later on.

Powder,

Thats not my auction. I like to point out good deals I see that I'm not interested in myself though.

I feel like that is what this post is for.

I have a post on the buying selling trading thread for my own auctions.

You know, in addition to posting cool (and ridiculous) auctions, I almost feel like we should be coordinating/cooperating if some of us are going for the same auction. Wouldn't really help for single items or lots where the bidders want everything in it (or ones where bidders want the same thing), but I imagine there are auctions for figure lots where we only want one or two figures... which might not be the same figures other people want.

(I mention this because, in addition to seeing comments about bidding over each other in the "steals" thread, I'm watching an auction right now and I only want Wingnut out of the lot. )

I think if people could work something out where one person buys everything, but then gets money from other people and then ships out the stuff the other person wants, it could work. I'd be up for it. Although I wouldn't be the one buying the big lots, only the one or two from the person who WON the big lot.

you can always just buy from some of those awesome people on ebay who sell the figures individually

Speaking of which, I just want to make sure you haven't forgotten about me...

Again though, I think it would be a great idea, to have people coordinate buying lots of figures. I know there's been a few lots I wanted to buy just because of a couple figures, but didn't want to spend the money on it.

^Yeah, we should work that out! I don't know if we'd post the auction in here and see if anyone would be interested in jumping in or have another thread for that purpose, but it's worth considering.

I totally need to pay more attention to the trade threads, too.

Ha! Though the single figures are starting to get kinda expensive with the added shipping, particularly for my purposes. I'm finding that the lots are a better bargain... even if I don't want many of the included figures. (P.S. If you end up with broken figures or loose heads -- the heads are mainly what I need -- that you just want to get rid of, drop me a line. )

So just looking at the newest eBay auctions labeled 'ninja turtles', I see at least two Scratch's, both loose. One is an auction that starts at $200, and this one is an auction that starts at $150, but has a BIN at $175. I thought even the loose ones fetched $300 or more.
