Is this auction probably my best bet to be able to get one of the colour reprints from 2009 currently?

I don't think those are too rare. I mean, it's just the 25th Anniversary Free Comic Book Day comic, right? I especially wouldn't pay over $40 for it.

That's pretty darn steep price for that issue. Especially since it's not the ERROR version. But living in the UK your options might be limited.

You're looking on the UK ebay site so that may be true there. In the US ebay site I see them frequently for $5 or less that ship worldwide. Here's just one example listed today although the picture isn't accurate to the actual cover.

I do search worldwide. Always. Maybe for some reason some of the BINs don't show up in search from the UK site, even though the seller ships worldwide.

@DonatelloFan - the FCBD edition is still in b/w. I'm after the limited color reprint that Mirage put out later in 2009.

imho- the appeal of Scratch is simply that he is harder to find than the other figures...but this is true for many of the figures produced from 1993-1996...and this is simply because popularity started to drop and people werent collecting as much...if you look at most of the "collections" from the fans that were right around that prime age in the 80s/90s... they typically have everything 88-91...and then it starts to dwindle...

as a seller, certainly i dont have him weekly or even monthly...but i do get him several times a year and he is almost always in the same condition if loose, minor paint wear on ear tips and maybe is 0009 is a little faded...

At least they stayed true to Mirage and kept them in red.

Was outbid on a Usagi cel with all four turtles in the background with just 7 seconds left! They still have some value, and I always feel that those private bidders must be some filthy rich person.

I'm always amazed at just how little effort people are willing to put into selling their stuff. One single lot for $20,000 and only local pickup? It's just not going to happen.

Aww, that is sad!
There's some great stuff there but a lot of it is OOP. Do you think 20,000 is accurate? Well, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay, I guess. Let's see if they get what they're hoping.

Edit: Upon looking at it... there's no way that's actually worth 20 grand. It's just general merch that you can collect yourself. So it has a scratch figure, big deal.

My God, why can't someone like that sell a few pieces at a time. There are a few things I know for a fact I'd buy. Selling it in one fell swoop isn't a great idea in my opinion.

As you can see by my signature, and my WTB listing in the 'FS/WTB/WTT' section, my number one want right now is one of the 2012 Toy Fair TMNT figures. Well, after that last auction of the Donatello a couple weeks ago, I haven't seen one again.

Well, this morning, someone listed a Raphael figure, without 'Buy It Now'. So now we're going to see how much it really will go up to. I was the 5th bidder, and have bid up to my limit, so I figured I'd post it here. I'm semi-amazed it's gone as high as it has, but since it's an auction, I don't know how surprised I can be.

My high bid was for $300 total, but someone wants it more than I do, so I'll wait for the next one to show up.

2012 NY Toy Fair Raphael w/Bag, Gift Bag, Lanyard: Too rich for my blood.
