As awesome as the first issue was and this issue looks, they don't really read consistant with the main series.
Sure, Raph would bop Mikey in the Mirage or 4Kids series, but it seems so out of character for this Raphael to... which is kinda odd. lol

Loved the first issue, I can't wait to read this. For some reason I find the art to be a bit weaker in that preview, and the colors look a bit off in some panels (what's with Raph's legs in the last panel of page 3?). Still, issue 1 is my favourite IDW TMNT so far, so this is a must.

It's not a big thing, it's just something that stuck out for me, since Raphael isn't an asshole in the main series and has gotten along really well with Mikey.

No biggie, just saying.

I dunno. Sure Raph is more mellow with Mikey in this series, but that doesn't mean he'll tolerate everything Mikey does.

Besides, I thought it was funny.

I liked it! To me this issue was very eventful and had a great story. I really really loved the dark mysterious tone to it. I also really liked the cult aspect to it given the turtles reincarnation origin.

Heroes in a halfshell and the outside world was excluded from the events.
