Yes, $110 is for two of each figure. A case of 8 has two of each figure. I was going to provide this link, because of the few online retailers are allowing pre-orders right now, BBTS is the cheapest.

And who cares if you go to TrU to buy them. I bought a case of each line, and will still go to TrU to buy single figures to open. I won't go be there when they open, because I never have any idea when they get their shipments.

I know mine gets shipments in daily its just the store has no idea what is on the truck each day when it pulls in about 9:30am, a half hour before opening.

You open your figures? That ruins the value of them! It took me to the age of 12 to figure that out and by then it was 1999 and the entire first wave had passed.Darn it!

Not a lot of toys have very much ''value'' nowadays. These will be mega- mass produced so I don't think they will be going for insane amounts.

If I can find the figures I want in stores, I'm going to keep my cases unopened. If I need to, I'll open the cases, open one set of figures, and keep one set of figures unopened.

I don't know about the figures, or the show, but I know that Barnes & Noble is shipping out all the TMNT coloring books I ordered on August 7th.

Will the classics be available on Amazon, or will it be a Toys R Us exclusive? I didn't really give them any notice when I quit, ie, stopped coming in one day so I don't want to have to deal with the awkwardness to get the classics if I don't have to.

If I remember right, the TRU exclusive figures are a larger version of the classics.

is that right...anyone?

Did Playmates announce the obligatory bikes (as with most hero toylines) in the vehicles lineup yet?

Wouldn't mind ordering a case of figs, but the trouble is I'd have to pay much extra in custom fees. I'm kind of relying on generous people stateside or anybody on ebay who is also generous to get the wave from.

There's one with Raph and one with a draconic-looking Foot Soldier

Yeah, what a totally insane concept - opening the toys you've bought...

In all seriousness, if it was within my power, I'd ban people from collecting toys if they're not going to open them. They're meant to be posed and played with! OK, if it's a vintage 12-back double-telescoping Darth Vader or something insanely valuable, I can understand that. I can even understand buying 2 of everything and keeping one set MOC. But I just don't get the mentality of someone who's gonna buy an awesome toy and keep it in its plastic & cardboard prison - that's pathetic, like you're ashamed of collecting toys, so you keep them mint in order to justify it to yourself - "But they'll be worth something one day!". No, they probably won't...

Cases of TMNT

One good thing about buying a case is that one doesn't have to drive all over town and spend gas money searching (Gas is almost $4 a gallon where I live). And if the case for the retro comes as a set of 8 I'd suspect they have the 4 turtles, Splinter, Shredder, April, and a Foot Soldier?

Has anyone seen what Splinter, Shredder, April, and a Foot Soldier look like?
