My birthday is in November, so that'll have an affect on when I buy certain things.

I can't remember what BBTS's pre-order for it was priced at, but the SRP for it is $119.99.

Hmm... see, me, I'm thinking I'll get the new show TMNTs all in one trip unless I hear about QC problems and want to take a cautious approach. I'm actually more worried about the classic ones and the possibility they'll be too expensive (for me) or too tall for my liking. If either ends up being the case, I'll probably just grab one and wait on the others.

Looking at all the figures we currently know are on the way, I have a question for those more familiar with Playmates release practices. With the first wave being released in August/September, how long do you think it'll be before the second wave hits retail?

I don't expect we'll get any more of the Classics figures till next year, but with nine figures in the new show's first wave, I'm wondering about how much time I'll have to get what I want before the next wave comes along with more figures to spend my money on.

The website below had it listed at $123.25 with retail being $145.00, seems way to high.

Unless things have majorly changed, that SRP is wrong. Should be $119.99, which is lower than what they're charging for it. I think it's safe to assume their raising the price to get more prophet out of them.

Playmates has instructed us that TMNT goods are only allowed to ship to addresses located in the United States, we apologize for the inconvenience, any orders placed for this item shipping outside the USA will be cancelled.
The European release will be a half year later if I remember correctly.
So, it's scalper time.

Well, that sucks. I don't want to wait until mid 2013 for the *possibility* that the Retro Classics/Collectors might make their way down under.

Playmates vs BBTS

I would much rather buy direct (and pre-order) from playmates for the new retro line than with BBTS. However, I'm a little confused on how to do this, could someone post a link or some instructions? I did see on Playmates site the collectors tab, but thats about it.

Thanks so much!

Last I read the Classics line will debut in June with the four ninja turtles as depicted in the '87 cartoon. Has there been an official release given? Since it is June now I went by and did not see a place for them and the person at the counter did not know anything about it. I know the Nick line comes out in August but I am more interested in the Classics line's release info.
