STOP THE MINIVAN BASHING! A rant involving minivans.

I'm getting sick and tired of people bashing minivans. I know it's not for everyone, but everyone bashes it for no reason. Minivans provide us with things such as power sliding doors, reclining seats, and DVD players, and people repay them by hating on them, saying they suck, and bashing them. It's one thing for it to be an opinion. I understand if you feel a minivan isn't the right car for you, but everyone's bashing the minivan just because it's not "Cool" or "Sleek" or "Fast" or "stylish". Well, about those 4 features...

I COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT COOLNESS!

I don't care if a car is cool or stylish or not. I want a car that'll keep me comfortable and entertained on long ride trips, and be filled with technological gizmos and cargo space and stuff like that. Not for it to be sleek and cool and stylish and stuff like that. The minivan bashing is driving me crazy.

LOOK AT IT! IT'S NOT THAT BAD! LOOK AT THE DODGE CARAVAN! LOOK AT IT!!!!!!

I'm so angry.

Well, I was reading stuff on car website forums, and a lot of people are bashing the snot out of minivans and hating on them. It's annoying.

I approve of this thread. Also, people die in sports cars. Just let them get angry at minivans, then you can laugh as you drive safely by the stretch of guardrail they blew through on their way down the side of a mountain.

I used to drive a minivan for about 7 years. The only thing bad about it was the gas mileage. The fact that it fell apart in its 10th year -- and when I say, "fell apart," I mean the side door came off -- I just chalk up to age. I still got around $1200 trade-in value for it.

Not necessarily mini vans but small SUVs' anything makes more sense than a sports car,you can't barely fit anything in them and they waste a ton on gas.

I've never understood why pople buy ridiculously expensive and fragile sports cars that chug gas when they could buy a cheaper and much more sturdy and useful car with better mileage. People will go so far just to look "cool".
