Ew! What happened to classic Mike's chucks? I wouldn't even mind some grey plastic/paint like Raph and Leo over the chromed stuff shown previously, but the solid orange is weak. I really hope that's not a final change.

Hm, inventor of Metalhead. I know it was mentioned before, or in another thread, but that's awesome. I can't wait to get the new Metalhead. Thanks for the pictures.

But that last post isn't anything really.

I saved the images and added them to my site for an easier look, and in case the auctions go down. I also wrote out what the backs of the cards say. Hopefully we can find the rest of the toys that are due out and get a good look at the packaging of those as well. Enjoy.

I'm a little disappointed with the information given on these new cards. On the 1988 cards, we not only had the team affiliation (with a cool logo) along with the weapons, but also the birthplace, height, weight, and often the age and or an extra, such as a shell. While a random quadrilateral may not be the neatest way of storing the cards upon collecting, it's at least a unique way of separating between the old and new. With that said, now we know that there are nine figures on the first release, more than 4kids and one less than Fred Wolf's first line.

I was going to create a thread about this, but I'm sure it's been discussed elsewhere, and I'm not sure it warrants a new thread.

Has anyone noticed that Splinter's hands look human? I mean, they don't look like claws, they look like human fingers. Anyone?

Yeah, I definitely noticed that. I assume that is how he will appear in the cartoon as well?

They aren't perfect, but I think they're close enough to rat paws. He's definitely got the pointy nails. Though I guess the over-all structure is closer to a human hand. Which, considering the fact this Splinter starts out as Hamato Yoshi, it wouldn't be a stretch that he would retain certain human features.

Yes! I found these bios, too! I like them a lot more than those bios the (supposedly) website had. I have some faith on how the characters will be, and it seems that what is written will stay true to who the characters are.

April has enormous feet. They look kind of weird compared to the rest of her body. Like she could demolish a swarm of foot soldiers with a few kicks.

They ALL have enormous feet. Not a favorite feature of mine, but I'm still liking all the toys.

Looking at Splinter on-card, I like how big he is, but it makes me wonder...If Splinter fills the bubble that much, how well Dogpound is going to fit into it.

Looks like I waited too long to do a pre-order for the Nick figures from bigbadtoystore. Anybody know anywhere else offering a pre-order that is reliable & has a decent price for them?

There are still some that's available for pre-order. Like the set of 4 Nick Turtles. And there are other retailers, though they're a little more expensive than BBTS.

Just looked at the pictures and i'm honestly not impressed. first of all, where are shredder's eyes? and i'm sorry but the kraang brain looks horrible! where are all of his awesome tentacles? i'm hoping this isn't the kraang and shredder that will be at retail because they look really bad compared to what we saw in pictures and at toyfair
