I may buy the calendar, but mostly, it will be the books for me. They have most of those images, AND, there will likely be more - especially with the How To Draw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I still have my 1991 and 1992 wall calendars, and a 16-month calendar starts in September, not August (that's a 17-month version).

Love those descriptions, Mikey sounds great. I have a really awesome feeling about him. Creative, social, impulsive...love it and very much Mikey traits.

Interesting how they are seemingly making Donnie some sort of weapons expert in this series...I mean he knew how to whip stuff up in the OT, but this Don sounds like a big weapons kinda guy more than an "all-around" type of inventor, at least that's how the back of the box makes it sound...

Same here. It makes it sound he won't be much of a dummy.

Well, it's better than IDW's Don.

I bet he'll be the same "Donatello does machines" expert he is, but without too much of his inventions malfunctioning. Let Nick give the exploding gadgets to Kowalski on The Penguins. That's what they've done occasionally.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Since he's the most intelligent, maybe he'll be an intelligence expert? I don't know. I wouldn't be surprised if he built any weapons. I wouldn't even be surprised if he added a retractable blade to his bo staff.

I even love the other bios. It gives me great hope for this series. Leo's is probably my favorite. Wish it wasn't too short, but I guess it's to show upcoming character development. Still, I like it. Raph's is great too, and I am intrigued with Splinter's. I can't wait any longer!

After seeing the cardback for the figures I am really warming up to the guys even more.I may not buy the figures(I didn't back in the 80's-90's)but are still cool.

Guess I'll be heading to the mall then to get it if it comes out in Aug. There's a keosk in the Tacoma Mall that always has the latest calendars. I could also pre-order it on their website calendars.com (it's where I got my current TMNT calendar...which is now $3.49 on calendars.com *lol* It's an OT Calendar). Interestingly enough calendars.com lists the release date as Aug 15th and has it in the Tween category. *lol*

There are also new halloween costumes made based on the shows new design. so far i have only seen leo and raph online

Where did you see this? I might have found the costumes, but they didn't look like the Nick turtles.

That's exactly what I found. Not too thrilled, but just happy it looks a bit cool. Wish it was a lot more 2k12 accurate. It's not a 2k12 Leo without the foot and ankle bandages he's supposed to wear.

i agree, it could easily be mistaken for a 2k3 costume. the raph one is much more accurate. i posted a link to it on the thread.

yeah, not too thrilled about these costumes. the description mentions don and mikey, but i haven't seen them yet. The masks are pretty cool though, and if they do mikey and don it would be cool if they added some details like mikeys freckles or dons gap in his teeth

The vilians that we can be sure that we will see in firs in first season will be Shredder, Foot Ninjas, Baxter Stockman, Shredder right hand man, Kraaang and some new vilians. These was the vilians that we saw from season 1 in both 1987 and 2003 cartoon so guess it will be the same.

The villains are Shredder, Kraang, Foot, Karai, Baxter, Leatherhead, Metalhead, Rat King, Dogpound, Fishface, Stinkweed.

I hope we see Slash soon.

No official list, but I would assume Shredder, Baxter, Krang, the Kraang (since there's a toy of them), the Foot, and maybe Hob if they go along with the comics. And hey, maybe we'll see someone new.
