The vice grips have been tightened on our wallets and crotches... Covers A & B look ill!

Kevin Eastman got his groove back. His early IDW covers were pretty boring looking, but now they're absolutely fantastic.

I guess Kevin was rusty from not drawing the Turtles in so long, but he improved back to his old style so quickly. His art is now just as fantastic as its ever been.

I really don't like the covers with just the turtles posing together that have nothing to do with the plot. That being said I do like issue twelve.

Corvus... Im with you bro... Planning to just get all cover b from now on. Eastman's covers are getting sicker and awesomer. This is by far the best cover he's done for the idw series. Jesus christ that is amazing and i cannot wait for this.

Duncan's cover A looks surprisingly dull for an issue 1 homage, and as much as I love Kevin, I'm really not digging his current style. He uses so much feathering and hatching that his drawings look... Hairy.

However, I have yet to see a Ryan Ottley drawing I wasn't impressed with. I need that as a poster.

I actually think Duncan's got the strongest cover there and not simply in terms of Mirage nostalgic value. Though I do wonder... what makes this particular issue warrant a Mirage #1 cover redux? I'm not knocking it, but doing so kind of invites a certain level of expectation and scrutiny that I wonder if will be delivered.

I agree with these statements wholeheartedly. Dan's cover looks more like an interior page to me.

Doesn't #12 end the first arc with Shredder? I thought I read that somewhere...

I wish my comic book shop is bigger. They never order enough to get the third cover :/

Kevin's cover this time around is awesome though
