the figures are mostly the same, but Mikey got a bigger hole in one of his hands, one of the turtles (maybe Raph?) got a bigger peg-hole under his foot. And Shredder as Wes Stated got a new leg for better standing.

And the Foot Soldier is a tad bigger cause they had to make new molds of him, and they made a cast of a Foot figure making the mold. This can be inaccurate, but I remember reading it somewhere in the drome when they came out.

I know I've said this before but, is anyone still finding these figures in TRU or Ross? I've checked MA and Florida and it seems the stores have been cleaned out.

Which leaves ebay, amazon, and other online stores as the only ones who have 'em, overpriced.

I opened up a 25th Mikey, and when compared to an original figure the 25th feels a lot cheaper. I prefer the originals by far.

I still wonder if there are any Shredders or Foot Soldiers left at any TRU stores or Ross. Anyone have any luck?

There's a Shredder listed for $15 at my lcs, but at TRU they've only had April ever since the initial Turtles & co. wave sold out.

I was working at TRU when the 25th line hit. we had 1 case of the initial run of figures, then several months down the line we got 1 case of the second wave which i snagged as fast as i could. Randomly we got a case of turtles vans around october, and im kicking myself for not buying a second one. I have never seen them since then anywhere.

I think I might replace my opened reissued for the vintage ones. The plastic is different, like its too shiny or something. I remember Raphael being my favorite In terms of the color green but the reissue is different somehow.

Hey, I know this thread's been dead for a while. But has anyone recently come across a 25th Ann Shredder in stores at all? I'm still looking for one to display loose, thanks!

I don't ever remember seeing him at retail. Then again it's been long enough, that I imagine finding any of the figures at a retail store would be rather surprising. Not quite impossible, but rather unlikely.

I very much regret not getting into the anniversary line while it was available at retail. At the time I was concentrating on other things, and even as much as I loved the turtles as a kid, the line didn't really peak much of my interest at the time. I would love to get the entire line...but I have the feeling that to do so, I'll need to pay through the nose...

I remember seeing the first wave everywhere, then eventually just April and Splinter. But I was able to buy all four Turtles, so I was happy. Wish I hadn't opened them, but hey, I got excited. It was like I was 7 again.

The second wave, I only saw Bebop and Rocksteady, which I bought. I never saw Slash or Shredder in stores. I think by the time the second wave came out, stores saw that they still had plenty of April's and Splinter's, and didn't want to risk it. I bet most stores just bought a case, and once it was gone, that was it.

Good luck on finding the Shredder, though.

I'm fairly certain I had one at one time that I bought as part of a lot of loose toys on ebay, because one of the legs was sculpted differently.

He was available on Toysrus.com and then never made it to regular Toys R Us stores, however there were stores called Toys R Us Express and they carried Slash, Shredder, and the Foot Soldier. They had tons of them at the one by my house.

I didn't want to post a new thread so I figured I asked here. Does anyone know what the production number of 5th anniversary leonards is?
