Mirage X Archie

So reading my IDW ultimate Mirage Collection vol 2, I read in the annotation that at one point Peter Laird had actually planned a crossover of the Mirage turtles with the Archie ninja turtles... just like with Turtles forever it was would be a clash of artstyles also suppose to include mixture of the two artstyles

So my question, do you think it would be good?

How do you think the turtles would of met?

how would the two teams interact with one another?

Based upon how Turtles Forever came out, I think it would have been great!

Cudley the Cowlick, only way I could have seen it happening. He was kind of the Deus Ex Machina for crossovers in the Archie books. Plus he showed up in those second Vol. of Tales books with the Cowboys of Moo Mesa

Considering they are both used to just insanity happening to each other they would have probably dealt with it rather well. I think it would have been cool if they started with an all out brawl between them. With Mirage thinking that they were clones or something and fighting them.

What I would have really been interested in seeing though, is the Future Raphael's interacting with each other. Which is something I doubt they would have gone into but it would be nice to have that juxtaposition between angry one-eyed Raph and remorseful one-eyed Raph

We did see the Archie turtles (and Rocksteady, Bebop, and Krang) very briefly in the Moo Mesa crossover that involved Cudley. The big bad (a vampiric version of Galactus) had the power to suck out the souls of everyone on a planet AND their multi-verse counterparts.

I for one would have loved a full on crossover tho. Especially if Ninjara were in it...

Perhaps but Ninjara wasn't a mutant. Her people were natural critters who once lived on the main island of Japan but left due to humans fearing them.

Yes but the Mirage guys wouldn't know that. I also just thought of what it might have been like if Mirage Raph showed an interest in her. Not just because its Raphael but because he's the one who always tries to reach out to others
