This whole thing is just really overblown and it further saddens me as how oversensitive society is nowadays. I'd really hate it if Nick panders to these soccer moms by firing Biggs and while I did say few pages back that I wasn't worried, I still wouldn't put it past Nick to take such a measure in order to save it's overall image. I kind of wish to hear Nick's response just so this can die already.

I know if one of my friends said things like that, I'd just laugh along and be like "oh, you". If they're as buddy-buddy as they say they are in interviews, I'm sure they don't care.

On the other hand, if my friends and I were in the (somewhat) public spotlight and they said something like that, I'd be like "come on, dawg, keep those kinds of jokes between us". Still, I'd stick up for him.

I don't know what people were expecting from a guy who is famous for sticking his junk in an apple pie. I mean come on now people, is anyone honestly surprised? I think it is funny however that people act like it is no big deal. What if he had said this about Michelle Obama? Would it be just as funny?

I wouldn't look at it any differently if it'd been about her, personally.

Don't get me wrong - I find his comments to be in very, very poor taste. I don't approve, at all. But at the same time, it's obviously 'shock humor' to me, and people acting like it has anything at all to do with a kid's show he's going to be on...that I find ludicrous.

I do facepalm at Nick apparently promoting his Twitter now though. Now is...really not the best time, Nick...

I don't honestly care one way or another. The point I was trying to get across is that his comments aren't appropriate regardless if they were meant to be funny. I like him in American Pie series of films. I don't follow his twitter or plan to. I don't care about his views or opinions. He is a person and is allowed to say whatever he wants.

His personal views don't impact the show. It isn't like he can say whatever he wants on the show and spout that kind of talk. There are scripts and directors. What he does outside of it is his business. Parents need to stop thinking Stars are role models and step up and be the role models their children need.

We're pretty much on the same page then actually. Like I said, I don't agree with his comment nor do I find it funny, but the 'soccer mom' crowd acting like this is obviously how his character is going to act on the show, or how he would act around kids that were fans, that's just ridiculous to me.

And I couldn't agree more with the idea of parents needing to be their kids role models more if I tried.

It wasn't actually Nickelodeon promoting his Twitter, it was TMNTMaster. Is he officially affiliated/recognised by Nickelodeon? I understand he gets inside information but I didn't think his Twitter account counted as being as official as they're saying it is.
