Unhappy Your biggest disappointment being a fan

Most of the time, we really enjoy what something has to offer. However, there comes on occassion (though not necessarily for all) in which you couldn't quite get what you were hoping for, such as making straight A's or getting hired for a job you really wanted to get, or a friend that overlooks yourself. Please explain your letdowns and shortcomings here, as it can be a good lesson for those who feel down and can be touched by these stories when you're feeling a bit down.

When I realized Mikey's nunchucks were removed because Europe banned them.

The red sky season.

When Archie TMNT was canceled.

The Next Mutation(I actually had high hopes for that series).

The Third Movie.

I never got to eat the Ninja Turtle Pies or the Pizza Crunchabungas, and have always wanted to.

I'd have to say the NECA deal.
Or that there are no actual missing episodes from the 80s cartoon.

As a kid I wish the original cartoon went on forever, or at least up until the Pokemon era.

As an adult I can't say much, I liked parts of both Fast Forward and BTTS and Seasons 8-10 of the OT.

The Mutating Turtle Van, Lost Sewer Wizard Splinter, the Back to the Sewer Turtles, the Jagwar figure, the music Foot and Shredder...all the stuff Playmates produced but not on a mass scale.

A okay. Thanks for clarifying, Jester. Personally, I've always wanted to see variants of the TMNT in their Stump Wrestling costumes.

That is what Vaughn Michael is for!

I would say a toss up, the very idea of Venus and its culmation in what would have been a childhood dream team and it was not Might Morphin meeting the Ninja Turtles but an aweful mess that ended the TMNT's appearances of television for five years. That tied with the Image comics giving horriffic injures to the green team with such violence all around. Both were big letdowns to be as a preteen and as a young adult still are. Not thinking any better half a life later proves the level of bad both were.

I have to say some of the seasons of the OT. When I was young I watched the OT, but mostly the 1st season and the pilot episodes, When I started watching through the OT and its entirety I was dissapointed by at the tone the show had taken in a few seasons, I always imagined the show would share the same tone as the pilot eps.

Second biggest let down was FF and BTTS especially bc I thought BTTS would return to its roots from season 1-5

The OT was actually fairly consistent. For ever silly episode there was there was a great episode right after it.
