Do you love Pizza because of the 1987 Ninja Turtles cartoon? - Page 3

LOGMAN · 09-04-2012, 04:48 AM

I love the pizza
I love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

But I LOVE eating pizza while watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Pretty much the most appropriate meal to watch the show with

plasticturtle · 09-04-2012, 04:45 PM

I've loved Pizza most of my life, so the TMNT didn't really affect that much. However I can't eat pizza without thinking of the TMNT and I do associate it with them now.

Did anyone try sushi?

magidkaiser · 09-06-2012, 04:34 PM

i like pizza very much because of Michelangelo

Vivi · 09-06-2012, 07:16 PM

I like pizza despite the turtles, they did some pretty heinous things to it and still called it food.

(I like pizza fairly spartan though> just the tomato sauce, garlic oil, basil and no cheese.)

1/2Shell · 09-08-2012, 08:18 PM

No, but it sure makes me hungry when I watch the OT. So it's more of an appetizer.

The Vernon Fenwick special! ("Pizza By The Shred")

I think I liked pizza before TMNT came out, but it definitely made me like it more. We'd always go to Pizza Hut and eat pizza on Fridays after we got our Book-It slips. Good times.

Nowadays, I still think of TMNT when I eat pizza. Heck, my BF's mom saw us watching an episode and when she gave us our pizza, she said, "Here's your Ninja Turtles food." So, now, that's what I call it.

TMNT_Guy · 09-09-2012, 09:47 AM

I always try to see things from others point of view, but I will NEVER understand people who don't like cheese on pizza.

My body can't handle it sometimes. Once I threw up an entire cheese pizza in about an hour. Later I ordered the same pizza w/o the cheese and it went down just fine!

Yes, a tomato-sauce pizza. How's that for Spartan eating?

That I can understand and I'm not joking when I say you have my sympathy.

It's the people who say they don't like the taste of cheese on pizza that confuse me, it's like spaghetti without sause. But, to each his own I suppose.

Today I played Turtles In Time and then scored some Pizza Hut. I didn't make any connection at the time, they were both just urges being satisfied. Makes ya wonder, though...

HeavyMetalCarebear · 09-09-2012, 08:23 PM

I love pizza, but I don't love it because of TMNT.

I do, however, always think of TMNT 2 when I have a huge, cheesy slice of pizza <3

ctt4lfecw · 09-09-2012, 10:03 PM

Of course.

alliance · 10-07-2012, 08:20 PM

Rather than loving pizza more because of the TMNT, I think my admiration for the TMNT grew even more because of their own love for pizza.

SawyerSquirrel · 10-08-2012, 02:36 PM

Quite possibly, it could help with my love of pizza. Heck, before chicken parmesan, it was my favorite food. Regardless, as it would seem, my mom loved her some cheeseburgers when she was pregnant with me, and likely as such, I love cheesy foods. Regardless, I can probably attribute some of my pizza love, especially early in life, with the 80's cartoon.

alliance · 01-04-2013, 10:23 PM

still say yes..

Theli · 01-04-2013, 10:26 PM

I love sushi even more..but yeah i'am always getting hungry watchin the turtles eating pizza. Sad the real cheese on the pizza doesn't look like the cartoon one.

LH · 01-04-2013, 10:35 PM

I always liked pizza, but after I discovered the TMNT I always think about them when I eat it. I would definately say that the TMNT has influenced my decisions to eat pizza in the past.
