I wouldn't be so sure. That's an insignificant detail to the media.

A batman reference? Really? I was finally starting to warm up to you, Nick. You let me down.

Oh, right. The batman movie was Dark Knight Rises. I still deduct points for lack of originality though. For the series premiere, the title should be more Turtles and less pop-culture reference.

Gah, I wish the episode titles could be more cryptic, like those of Spectacular Spider-Man...

Aren't the episodes titled, "Day One" with both episodes being Part One and Two?

I imagine they were at some point. They were probably just working titles, though. Unless it's just the event that's called "Rise of the Turtles" and the episodes themselves are called "Day One" parts 1 & 2.
I'm confusing myself now.

Im thinking that the whole hour thing is called Rise of the Turtles while the eps themselves are Day One and Day Two. But hey they could very easily have changed the name in between the publication of the books and now. *shrugs*

The titles "Day One" and "Day Two" don't really work because if they're trying to show how many days go by within the course of a season, that'd get confusing quickly. Better to call them "December 13th" or something like that.

TV listings show what's on for the next 2 weeks, and this saturday will be 2 weeks before the premier.

"Day One" sounded a little cooler and more spring-boardish, and certain shows have had that as an episode title (Torchwood did it twice)

Ah well.

The advertising for the show is insane. I think Nick wants it to replace Spongebob as their main show for the next decade.

Why would Nick want it to replace SpongeBob? They don't just aim for one "main show" at a time, they want as many popular shows as possible.

No, Derp. It's like the cable channel version of Highlander: There can be only ONE!!

Cubed, "any high schooler knows" that Nick wouldn't put all their money making eggs in one Turtle shaped basket...

Exactly. Spongebob is Nick's most popular show. There's no way Nick is going to cancel it just because of the TMNT.

I saw that production for a second movie just started and will be released in November 2014. So Spongebob will be around to celerate 15 years without being cancelled. I though the Rugrats getting 11 years was impressive. Perhaps that is a sign that Ninja Turtles could be around for a good while.
