i did some touch ups to mimic the promo picks of rocksteady. as you can see i painted his star red, painted his eyes with pupil (the right i painted in a diamond blue color. to copy the diamond glass eye he has in the cartoon.) painted his knuckles gold. gave him the vintage rifle and hunting knife of the original rocksteady.

and here is the duo together at last:

oh man i hope these two make their way to Canada soon

That Bebop touch up is really nice. I wish the nose was atleast painted on the actual release.

As stated in the findings thread, I found the new TMNT Party Wagon at a local Target here in Minnesota yesterday. Someone asked for photos, and I took a few. I' m not very good with adding pics to my posts, so hopefully this works.

I have a few more pics, but it said I had the maximum number I could put on this post.

So has the packaging design changed for the party wagon?

Yep. Not too drastically, but it's definitely different.

Is that Venus sticker a custom? Or is it a tongue in cheek joke by the Nick team and hopefully not a 'preview' of things to come...

It's just a joke from the creative team, it's in the show too.

Oh it's already in the previews, literally speaking. But if that's their one Venus nod then that works.

Thought as much, still you can never be too sure with Ciro.

On that note, could Venus work as a character in the Nick show?

I think it could be done, I saw a really cute fan rendering of her once. If she were a one time deal or something, sure.

Thank you for the van pics MST3KFan.
Looks nice. I like the Venus sticker that's discussed above. Shows a sense of tongue in cheek style.

I think Venus could be a nice addition if she is added as a random mutation with no complicated backstory directly involved with the brothers. If she has a origin similar to Mona Lisa...... nevermind scratch Venus bring back Mona Lisa.

Are those panels on the Party Wagon supposed to be simulating wood or something?

Just picked up the new mix-n-match Mikey, Slash, and Metalhead at my local Wal-Mart today. I was surprised to find anything new at all, since they've been pretty much picked clean since Christmas, and haven't had much the last few days. I snatched these three up right away, as they were the last ones left of that line, except for a new Raph and Shredder. They are so cool I started getting plot bunnies just looking at them, so I HAD to take them home! So now I have all three joining my TMNT collection on my computer desk, and the extra limbs are just BEGGING me to pose them in some sort of morbid "toy death" scenes, LOL!!

Here's just a few more quick photos I had taken of the new Party Wagon.

You can tell there are parts of it reused from the TMNT movie Van of recent, but they did remold quite a lot as well. If someone hadn't pointed it out, I might not have noticed.

As far as the panels and what they're trying to simulate, I'd guess rusted or worn metal, not sure. I guess we'll see when it shows up in the new cartoon.

If I could make one comment on it though, I think the white should have been left off. It makes the van look like it's still in a prototype stage and they hadn't finished it yet before production.

I know you do, but these threads have a lot more people then the Nick threads, so I'm wondering why the toys are more popular then the show they're based on.

I did that with the GI Joe Sigma Six toy line. The figures were awesome with lots of cool accesories and great quality for the $10-$15 each figure was. I never could get into the show. They never made the Scarlett character from the show (for us that would be like not getting April) a few years ago Hasbro even showed a totally painted prototype of her action figure.

The Turtles are different, they have opened up the flood gates in my head and the show (or shows) and toys are a must for my senses.

More fans are collectors than just watch the cartoons?
