The video has been deleated and the pics are all over Tumblr now, so thats why people are getting excited about it because some of them haven't seen the video.

You took the words right out of my mouth. What a cliche - the "bad girl" has been brainwashed and is now a femme fatale, using the power of her sexiness to bring people down. It's not like she's trained her entire life as a ninja and could just punch someone in the throat - nah, let's go for one of the most hackneyed tropes in the world and have her smooch people to death instead.

Karai's a freaking awesome character - she deserves way better than this.

Yeah, I am not really happy about this new development either. At this point, she is no longer control of her own actions which makes her seem less of a character. And this femme fatale shtick is a complete caricature of what people make her out in the very beginning of the show.

But....the episode is not out yet.

But this whole CaseyxKarai is just over blown. It just going to one of those things that are going to be forgotten and was just meant to be a joke. It just a joke, people.

Actually that's was one of the things Kunichi were historically trained for. Infact the term Kunochi translates to "Nine and one" because females have ten holes on the body, while men have only nine.

Kunichi historically used their sexuality to seduce and distract an enemy in order to get info or disarm an enemy. For example there is a video game called Red Ninja where you play a female ninja named Kuranai. One of the things you do in the game is seduce guards.

And there is a historical novel called Cloud of Sparrows where the lover of the main character is a geisha who was trained as a Kunoichi. She thinks her job is to kill her lord lover, but she grows to love him and can't go through with it. There is another twist to her character later on in the story when it turns out she is actually from an Eta village.

Their main role is to be maids or consorts of their enemies. As they invade their hostile residences legally, from the casual conversations with another maids or servants, they pick up secrets information. Generally speaking, people are not cautious about women. Kunoichis take advantage of it.

In principle, the jobs of Kunoichis are the supports to male Ninjas, Kunoichis sometimes act independently. It is when they utilize a weapon as a female. In short, Kunoichis sometimes sleep with their enemies and try to bring out secrets. Hopefully further, Kunoichis may be able to control even their enemies by obsessing them with sex. For that purpose, it is said that beautiful girls in a very juvenile age were chosen to train them to be Kunoichis.

Karai was probably just screwing around with Casey I doubt she will use "the power of sexiness" very often. And what does NOTP mean?

Karai has literally been using her seductive skill since the moment she appeared on screen. Hell her main tactic in her debut episode was to drag Leo to the dark side by abusing the fact the he was completely in to her.
