This is why I hope the new series doesn't combine with the movie and stays a seperate show. Though I do hope there are a few more baddies being thought of for the movie line, I am not holding my breath for anything new coming out.

Playmates did the same thing for the Shogun Ninja TMNT [except there wasn't an animated version of the guys in their armor]. I don't know what it is with them?

Man... most of my stores are such a FAIL. (Most.) Since today is supposed to be the sell date of the movie stuff I ran to my Walmart this morning.

...they had two or three Leo's and Mikes in the basic little figures and that was it. (Looking for the 11".) That really kind of annoys me because IF they WERE selling them out of the back then just put the god damned display out, ya know?

Debated going over to Target... it's in a mall near the local exits and crap to I-95 (for those easterners who know I-95 is so much fun) so it's a bit of a pain over there, but being a Sunday I figured it's prob best to go now than during the week. Look around over much of the sore... NOT A THING.

Have a Toys R Us on the way home, had not been there in years. I figured if anyone has this stuff it would surely be them. Though I figured they might be more expensive than I was expecting Walmart to be... so at best I figured I might at least have a look at them and wait for Walmart. They surprised me when their prices appeared about the same as Walmart.

Sooo... guess who's now standing by the computer. Only got the one 11" Leo, nothing else from the movie line, but that is enough for me.



I have to agree, that though I'm not a fan of their choices with the movie models the toned down looks of the figures isn't bad, these are pretty cool really.

After Walmart and Target disappointing, I figured I was just gonna have a typical no-luck kinda day... but I've got one more bit to post on the Crush thread.

No way! I bought a April two days ago and she was regular price.

Were they actually released? I remember seeing the news about the build a figure cyber Splinter but I thought it was with some smaller scaled Turtles.
And then later on it was canceled or something.

Looks like the blind bag turtles which never came to the USA (though they 4 turtles did come to TRU in a $10 pack which was given away free if you bought the recent Nick 3DS/Wii/360 game... though that promo is over.)

Guess this is a new wave of them. Or production samples from a wave that may never come out?

The Shredder mini fig was also available in the US if you bought the "Ultimate Showdown" DVD at TRU.

Went to target today and picked up the assault van w/ alternate Leo. They didn't have any of the tmnt movie figures out, but they were all in the back. Thinking about returning the van I got from tru. Forgot to check for the 4 turtle pack. Is that at target too? If so any have the dpci?

always so much more expensive in canada, drives me insane

I don't even like these figures that much, but I know I'm going to pony up and get the whole set because I can't resist adding this version to my collection.

Must be the deluxe. The 5inch were $9.97 when I picked them up a couple weeks ago.

going to check out my local target today to grab 1 or 2 movie figures.. I'll probably get just either Leo or Leo and Shredder. I just dont like the other figures..

Not a fan on Mikey's new design at all.. I don't like how Raph's head is so small compared to others..Donny is really busy with all the tech/spy gear on his design and I really dont like the colored plastic bo staff...
As for the others, I have no care for the undercover Raph...April is very generic and obviously tailored to Megan Fox.. so no thanks. The foot soldier doesnt look anything like a ninja to me.. just very swat/mercenary like and Splinter.. ohh I wanna like the Splinter design but once it gets to the neck up, it loses me. Am I the only one who thinks he looks like a dumbfounded catfish?!

SO, i'll probably get Leo and maybe shredder.

Also, anyone have any insight on the 11" figures?? they don't look like anything too special to me? whats everyones thoughts on them?

Different packaging, standard leonardo, not limited or anything, same paint job.
We have it here in Malaysia.

There are also Drop Copter + standard leo and Sewer Cruiser + standard Raph packings and these also come with a canister of mutagen ooze.

Has anyone noticed that the 2014 TMNT Raphael's right arm seems to be limited in articulation due to the sculpt of the shell? It seems like his shoulder can only move in limited fashion.

I agree on the Leo, I'm not too fond of the movie model designs but the figure is pretty cool in it's own right. Got it yesterday, it's the 11" figure and personally I preferred the looks of it more than the small figures. Articulation is pretty limited, but he's a cool figure.

Found a Kendo Splinter, and on the back it stated that Slash, a good guy, worked under the Kraang. Why so many continuity errors? Is the toyline a separate canon from the show like in the olden days?

Slash is about as much of a good guy as I am. That said, he certainly isn't affiliated with The Kraang. On the flip side, I feel it's entirely too generous to be putting Newtralizer on the "Ninja Turtles" alliance.
