Wasn't the their best stuff but I thought it was kind of funny. The lyrics to turtles tunes are laughable on their own

Yeah, I wish they could have gone in depth on the game. Maybe they will in an upcoming episode. I mean, it is a part of TMNT. I think they probably did this to spare us from watching too much of Turtle Tunes, but still want to showcase just how bad that crap is.

Man, I tear up everybody if it was the Genesis version! Say what you will about graphics & character selection... "Ultra Depression Attacks" were awesome!

Short video, but entertaining. It was a very good contrast of the Turtles at their best and at their worst.

Those costumes in Turtle Tunes were terrible.

I thought it'd be funny if at the end Mike admitted to liking the third movie.

That'd be funny and ironic, especially after already going on about his hate for the movie and sliced the video in half. lol

I like it when James covers the Turtles instead of video games because that angry theme is just getting old and repetitive, half the time he doesn't even review the game anymore but have side stuff in there like vs Bugs Bunny or whatever.

Plus, his TMNT 1989 cartoon reviews were amazing, absolutely loved the in-depth reviews and I didn't miss much from the DVDs.

I've noticed his video game reviews are less angry than they used to be. Fine by me, it was beginning to be a little too much every episode. Sometimes less is more.

For me, the whole "person gets in front of a camera and trashes a movie/show/game" is starting to get old. AVGN was one of the first and the best, now everyone thinks they can do it and be entertaining. Nostalgia Critic was good for a while, but I think he's already covered everything worth making a video about.

You got a point there, buddy. Seeing the same routine over and over has gotten tiresome.

The best part about his AVGN videos is the fact that he talks about the game's flaws and stuff. Despite the angry thing getting old, I still like that aspect of it.

You're not missing much. The whole video is his weird friend speaking very slowly & with doubt about which figure was which.

Yeah, since he finished the series retrospective, I've been less than impressed with the other videos.

Agreed. I've been a huge fan of everything James Rolfe for quite some time but the last 2 weeks or so have been total let-downs. But we have 'till what, August? I'm sure he's got some other interesting stuff in the works. I'd like to see a "Compare & Contrast" between all three versions of Tournament fighters + Turtles In Time Vs. Hyperstone Heist.

I liked it in the beginning where they were checking out the Mirage comics and noticing how adult oriented it was. After that it just went downhill.

Apparently, James is trying to dedicate time to his AVGN movie, which means his other projects will probably be far less ambitious for the time being.

This begs the question: Do any of you think the AVGN movie will actually see a major theatrical release?

Not a chance, did you not see his recent video about the movie? Besides the script he still has the illusion his film can be anything besides a small independent film, how many months has it been since the last episode of AVGN and he still doesn't have anything for the movie. As far as the show, for me it got stale a long time ago however he kept bringing new ideas like all the extra skits and whatnot that kept my interest peak, when he decided to go "back to the basics" and just cuss a lot those videos no longer interested me since that's been done before while the skits many complain about where actually a breath of fresh air.

As far as Turtle Tuesdays, its been lackluster for quite a while now and sadly I don't see it getting better, oh well.

Its possible that it will have a theatrical release it will most certainly be in some film festivals, I believe James has mentioned that at the least. I wouldn't mind if its out on DVD fairly early after completion if it doesn't end up in theaters.

It has been I believe 2 months since the last AVGN show maybe 3? There is a possibility of his movie being financed some how and not just being a small independent film. At the moment it seems as though it will likely probably be just a small independent film. I think James just wants to make it and doesn't care how he does it as he has said he will animate it with stick figures if he has to

They have called out for actors among other things. The whole point of taking a break from the AVGN was so he could concentrate on pre production on the film.

I have really enjoyed Turtle Tuesdays some have been less elaborate than others but most weeks his videos are very good and puts a lot of work into them. I think as a Turtle fan I am being spoiled and appreciate the guy for putting these out as he has no doubt put a tone of time into it. Some videos will be shorter and old video clips like today.

I am hoping he gets to the comics at some point which I am betting he will those videos will take more time like the TV show retrospective which must have taken a lot of work to get done... Maybe he'll even review the 2k3 series, I'd like to hear his take on it even tho he is still probably much more a fan of the original toon. I am betting videos like the ideas I mentioned are why he puts out more raw video like older video he had of him and his buddy having fun with toys because he is likely working on ones that take more time. Don't forget his other videos also he works on Monster Madness all year round as its quite a bit of work to plan that all out.
