When Donatello said, "Retro-mutagen" it was an easter egg to the original cartoons retromutagen gun.

I echo what others have said: That's not an Easter Egg.

In Mikey's box of VHS tapes there is an orange tape which is a reference to the old Nickelodeon tapes that were orange. This made me really happy.

Not sure if it was caught in an earlier episode, but I just noticed in this week's episode that April lives above an antique store like in the original movie.

That's from the Mirage comics.

I didn't even catch the Faces of Doom tape. Good catch and I think you're right. I do wonder how the Turtles would react watching something like that.

Yep, I finally caught the Laird on Tim's voice box and also noticed that orange tape, too. Pretty cool find. And yes, we now know that April lives right next to Second Time About.

Second Time Around's been featured in the background of a few eps, I was wondering if there was going to be a connection with April.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this or figured it out, but Captain Ryan and Mr. Crankshaw (and in turn Captain Dash and Dr. Blip) are voiced by the same VA's who did Captain America and Bucky in Avengers: EMH, which Ciro worked on in the past.

In "Follow the Leader" the point where Leo is saying "...before some "Random Joe" gets mutated is focused on Donnie. This could be reference to Donnie's second mutation in the 2K3 as he was one of the most random people you could give an unfortunate mutation to.

Easter Egg: No
Foreshadowing: Possibly

I think it will depend on the new episode Sunday, with what April's fear is. If her fear is Donatello turning in a monster in an attempt to save her dad, I believe they're foreshadowing it and at some point it will happen.

But the Conspiracy episode left we pondering if that's going to be her fear now, her fear may now be thinking she is Kraang. And "Donnie Bat" maybe Donnie's fear of trying to help April return to having as normal life as possible and it completely backfiring.

Isn't the way the 80's turtles fall down the building in the very last shot of The Manhattan Project a reference to something, like one of the games? The poses look familiar.

Yeah, they do that in either TMNT II or TMNT III for NES. In fact it might be TMNT III because of, "The Manhattan Project" title which was also the name of the game.

So in the new Manhattan Project episode we hear April's ringtone for Casey. When I heard it I thought it sounded VERY familiar. As a kid from the 80's I of course had a NES. One of my favorite games is Ice Hockey. Complete frickin classic. Anyways I pretty sure his ringtone is the music they play during game play. It would make perfect sense as he is a hockey player.

That would be more of a possibility. You know allot of those NES games have similar sound effects/ Music tracks. *goes off to listen*

I actually thought the same thing & same song.

Even though it's possible that it's from TMP, the fact we both thought the same thing makes it neat.
