The Dark Knight trilogy is mentioned instead of just Batman and Superman is there as it's own thing, as opposed to Superman and Batman just being rolled into DC. Friends, a TV show that ended over 20 years ago, is on there as well. Shark Week is also not a franchise of its own, it's a programming block which is a dying concept in the streaming era.

Some of these may indeed still be very popular among people (I'm not into reality shows, so I don't know) but there are some clear biases here. Maybe Friends is doing extremely well in reruns and maybe the Dark Knight trilogy outperforms the rest of the Batman franchise if not all of DC, I'm just not sure labelling either as "major franchise" really works.

Also, years ago when Warner Bros. was a separate studio, one of its shows Tiny Toon Adventures spoofed the classic Paramount film Sunset Boulevard. Now it's part of Paramount.

Yes, maybe in comics, also I think TMNT might be published by DC Comics once current IDW licence expires most likely

It'd be kind of more surprising if they didn't do that, really.

Imagine DC trying to make the entrance of the TMNT into the DC universe some kind of mega comic crossover event. I could see it, if just so DC could see a temporary sales spike.

I'd still be really surprised if TMNT become a permanent actual part of the DC universe. And not just crossovers like IDW did before, but a "permanent" mainstay of DC going forward, as in new versions of the Turtles who will always exist among DC superheroes going forward. Same for any new movies or cartoon versions in the future.

I still see them keeping TMNT separate from the rest of DC, aside from stuff like the usual non-canon crossovers we had from IDW.

They might have crossover with Teen Titans once DC start publishing TMNT, also Teen Titans Go might now really do crossover with TMNT after doing a parody crossover almost 12 years ago
