What it may not be so obvious could be what comes next. I believe the season could end with Splinter alive and the Super Shredder could ending in a similar way that in the second movie from the 90's. His insanity makes him cause something that will kill him, the Turtles and Splinter at the same time. However, the Turtles manage to escape in the last second, and they take a rest on the rubbles. For their horror, they see Super-Shredder's hand emerging from the rubbles and they think there's no way to end him; until suddenly, his hand collapses and ends completely inert.

Exactly, which means anything can happen, no matter how ridiculous it can sound. Turning into an animal, you are merged with machinery, you get mental powers.... Mutagen is like a lottery, where you have no idea what you are gone get from it. The only thing I can think about what it could happen to the Shredder after this, maybe he will evolve into another monster like the Mega-Shredder. That would be appropiated.

All I know is that the episode ends with Bebop and Rocksteady confronting the turtles, April and Karai.

the only problem is this is like the 3rd time we have had a shredder killed Splinter scene. lts getting repetitive and the more you do it the less impact it has. But gotta give credit that the suspense and tone of the episode was amazing. Also, cliffhanger oh noooooo.

Yep.
I think the first time was when he went missing in the sewers and later found alive. second time was where he died for about 2 minutes and earth time got reversed. this is time #3.

And I BET He survives and we see their take on the issue where splinter meets the rat king in the silo.

Shredder didn't kill Splinter, they fell off a cliff. They'll be shown in the next episode.

Frankly, I don't think it would make a difference. He's always been as reclusive as the other mutant characters on the show and, unlike the stupid synopsis tried to claim, the turtles could never defeat him to begin with. It would be great if his mutation was more or less, this show's way of marking the end of this conflict between Shredder and the turtle family.

I think this will be the end of the Shredder story for the Nick TMNT. We have seen his character develop from Tales of the Yokai - where you could almost sympathize with him - to a complete corruption both inside and out.

Bebop and Rocksteady are fun, but I feel like Rahzar and especially Fishface are getting very stale.

I feel Fishface is getting stale but not Rahzar because he is deadly villain. Bebop and Rocksteady are more a comedy duo villains, they arn't deadly like Tiger Claw and Rahzar. Rocksteady and Bebop are not like the IDW version so I can't imagine them getting a sledgehammer out and smashing Donnie's Shell in the Nick Toon.

They were good but now after seeing so much of them without any changes they've gotten kinda stale. Tiger Claw should pick up with his backstory coming soon though.

In a way I still kind of wish they had never introduced Bebop and Rocksteady at all, and rather just had Dogpound and Fishface as that show's version of them, so to say.

Then that would make them even more stale. Seeing the same two mutants beaten up over and over gets old.

Bebop and Rocksteady brought some fresh air, and they're generally comedic.

Well yeah but I mean if Bebop and Rocksteady wouldn't had been introduced to this series, then how long must we have waited for the next cartoon incarnation of Bebop and Rocksteady?

Also about having Dogpound/ Rahzar and Fishface as the rebooted Bebop and Rocksteady was something many fans complained about in the beginning of the series. They complained how they should add Bebop and Rocksteady and not have a warthog and a rhinoceros being replaced by a dog and a fish. Also remember that the producers said that Bebop and Rocksteady were one of the most anticipated characters for this new series.

Agreed completely. I feel like that was the Season 1 writers' ways of making a new Bebop and Rocksteady without just bringing in Bebop and Rocksteady. But yeah, now Shredder's henchmutants are just an over-crowded mess now that they brought B&R in, giving Bradford and Xever nothing to do at all.

Good writing in any cartoon ever makes things that could normally become stale not stale at all.
