Now just explain how a slice in the back of Leo's shell and Raph getting sliced across the gut killed them. When Young Leo got stabbed in an area behind his shell and had to have it removed to heal him and he made it.

1. Same As It Never Was - despide the flaws that people already mentioned, it's still my favorite episode so far, mainly because it's different, it's violent and I'm a fan of the Image comics.

2. Things Change - the episode that started it all. I still watch it from time to time, just to remind me where the show took off from.

3. Bad Day - it's just great to see the Turtles against all their enemies at once.

4. Tales Of Leo - a nice flashback and lots of emotions in this one.

5. A Tale Of Master Yoshi - can't skip this one, nothing beats seeing Splinter as a pet rat in the Ancient One's home

6. (honorable mention) Insane In The Membrane - an episode which is probably nothing outstanding, but caused a great hype because it was not aired

Yeah, I understand that. It's just that the idea of a huge ball of energy is a little hard to swallow. Anyway, I did re-watch the episode and it did appear to be a blast of energy as you said (although it still could very well have been a rocket.)

The scene is very rushed, just like the rest of the episode, but it served its purpose. I definately agree with Spitfire that it should have been a two parter, and I belief that, in doing so, most of the flaws in this episode would have been corrected in the process.

Either that's one powerful and/or magic sword, or, They had to find someway to kill him short of decapitating them.

Yeah I agree, a two part version would have been bitchin. Then we could have got some flashbacks and more backstory. But, SAINW was just Don's story in the Across Time and Space Arc, and nothing more i guess. But I do wish they would have expanded on it.

I dont know if anyone will agree with me on this, but in my opinion, it would have been really cool if when the Ultimate Drako came back, he only sent Donatello into an alternate reality. Instead of seeing the other turtles alternate dimensions(which in my opinion were nowhere near as interesting as Dons) we could have had a mini story arc for Same As it Never Was.

Well, for me it was a true pleasant surprise. The episode synopsis of it didn't sound all that interesting to me, but the episode truly was exceptional since it wasn't solely focused on Hun. You got Bishop making his first appearance since the beginning of the season (and coming into conflict with the Shredder). You got Shredder looking out for his daughter's best interests (or so we thought at the time, Exodus showed that wasn't the case at all), Hun kicking butt as a veritable Action Hero (complete with one liners ). The character interaction was simply wonderful in my opinion, abit if small in scope. But it's the little things that count.

And then, the icing on the cake. One of the best, if not the best, animated action sequences I've ever seen: the TMNT, Hun and Karai vs. Agent Bishop. That was simply a beautiful sight to behold.
