All I had to do was watch an old episode that I downloaded...

Help yourself by DLing the 2nd episode. As for me, I lost interest around the mid 90s. Then got back into it in Jr. high. Then got out of it. now I'm back again due to the new toys and show.

I got into it in 1987 (I think that's when the original cartoon premiered) at age 5-6, and I had always watched it everyday. I had 1-2 pizza parties with TMNT birthday cakes...it was great!!! During the last one or two seasons, my interest started fading out. I also never really got into the Next Mutation (live-action) series. I simply moved on. I did watch one of the three movies a few times, but I never really got into the Turtles thing again until a few weeks ago. I suppose you could say that the birth of the new TMNT brought me back to the past. It felt great, man. I guess you could say 1996 or 1997 was when my TMNT interest started to fade away.

MY interest faded in the mid 90s when I got to 7th or 8th grade. I still caught the cartoon alot (even the final two seasons for the most part). But it wasn't as interesting. I gave all my toys away which im kicking myself for now cause Im trying to get them back! My interest picked up mostly a little over a year back when I ran across the new TMNT #1 on the shelf at my local comic store. (Yes I go every Weds. to pick up my new comics usually). Then I started picking up the back issues of the original mirage series having never read them before. Then I went out and bought all three movies on DVD (even though I have them all on VHS allready). THen came word of the new cartoon and I was eagerly awaiting that. Now its here, and I have all the new toys. Started buying the old toys of ebay as well and now getting all the old cartoons also. I am very much back into the TMNT life right now. TMNT will always kick ass.
