I think they knew it was the end since in the preview for the next episode Mikey said Wedding episodes is always a sign of the end of a series in I believe a homage to that same episode. I doubt they would have put it in if they didn't know.

Next week: Wedding of the year!

Pretty much. This show has become an embarassment. Give us a DTV movie to wrap up the series/Cyber Shredder thing and please give us the rest of the season sets (Season 3 parts 1 and 2 and Season 4 part 1) on dvd. Beyond that, I think this may be for the best. Today's episode was yet another groaner, topped only by that atrocious Serling episode.

I thought this episode was on the lame side -- and as usual, Michelangelo annoyed the crap out of me. That said, I still sort of enjoyed it because of all the potential toys I thought of while watching it! Why is Playmates giving me movie figure repaints/retools and bootleg Mirage Turtles when it could be giving me a well-articulated Super Sentry in his new costume?! How about a new Turtle Titan figure? And I fully expect to see a Green Mantle Raph custom out of one of y'all in the near future.

As for next week, I don't want to see a wedding episode -- if April and Casey get married, it means I can't have her anymore.

At least OT April keeps showing up on the news broadcasts!

A decent episode.

When I first time saw Silver Sentry back in season 1, I thought it was stupid to put superheroes into the TMNT universe but now I´m okay with them. Enjoyable episode but as second last episode it seems a waste but "Web Wrangles", "SuperQuest" and Serling episode seemed more missed oppoturnities . Although SuperQuest
was saved by Elfinators identity.

Finally Leo lost his post as a "only turtle to appear in every episode". Too bad Leo and Donatello don´t got their episode. They could have made Nightmares Recycled toned version and Garbageman was big bad spambot in the Cyberworld. And since April got her Cyberarmor she could have tagged along.

Nano's design reminds me of Booster Gold and Dr. Malignus design reminded me abit of the Green Goblin from the Spider-Man film.

Leo missed an episode? If this was bowling, Leo left the 7-10 split & lost the 300 game at the last moment. So has every Turtle been imperfect (missing an episode)?

I agree a wedding isn't necessarily a series finale. Only Happy Days, Empty Nest & (Classic) 90210 ended their shows with a wedding.

This episode was okay, but not the best. I loved Mikey's quote about making the booties himself and Raph's retort that he could tell Mikey where to shove them. Other than that, the episode wasn't the best. Mikey wasn't as crazy as in that FF episode, but it did remind me of that. I liked the fact that Raph had the revelation that the two had to work together instead of fighting.

I was disappointed that we didn't see Don or Leo at all. I really hope that next week's ep has the guys reuniting with Splinter and not just having him there at the start of the episode. I also don't think it's the series finale because they would've stated that it was the series finale. My prediction is that they'll show this ep and then the DTV stuff.

Exactly my thought. Part of me wishes that it was Donatello getting time away from the computer, buddying around the Comicon, instead of Oscar the Gr....uh...Raphael mumbling about things over and over. And once again, every episode of Darkwing Duck with Gizmoduck.

But this episode was almost enjoyable. I liked seeing Zippylad and Stainless Steele for one last time... and I like the idea of Turtle Titan... just not how the last 2 times came out.

I really wish that somehow they knew this was the last season, and made a Turtle Titan episode where he says, "It's been fun, but I'm needed elsewhere" and effectively ending the TT saga. And I also wanted to see a subplot with Leo and Don getting the last of the data bits. Other than that, if there was another season, more episodes... fine, this episode would have been okay. But as Vaugn says... waste of an episode. They could have even started the Shredder war instead.

Green Mantle? Al Gordon? Seriously? Yellow thimble? I'd say this show has definitely lost its centre. With all the Fast Forward and Justice Force and Cyberspace stuff that's been going on these past couple of seasons (which would be fine as a show on its own, without the TMNT), the Ninja Turtles of it all seems to have melted away. I liked when it was about them as brothers, mutants, shadow warriors, struggling to stay hidden, while fighting...ninjas. In the dark. In a city that needs them because no one else is doing it. Street punks, mad scientists, crazy cyborg clones, aliens and even the odd theme villain every now and then is completely fine, but it's just gone too far, to where it hardly ever focuses on anything remotely ninja-related. And what's with the walking around in sunlight? Seriously, this show is trying too hard to be a different show (Futurama, The Tick, Tron, The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest, and whatever else). It all started with two things, I think. Utrom Shredder and Turtle Titan really kicked off a chain reaction that slowly killed the very heart of the show. Like a cancer of plot. Turtle Titan started the whole "Mikey wants to be a superhero" thing, which has gone way too far and flanderized him into an overly childish idiot (whatever happened to the end of "The Unconvincing Turtle Titan" anyway? Didn't Mikey decide it wasn't his thing?), and Utrom Shredder started the transition away from the ninja aspect of the show by turning a very badass human ninja villain into a one-dimensional, robotically enhanced "natural monster", thus destroying all the mystery of "what made this guy into such a monster?", then they tried to "fix" it with demon shredder and cyber shredder, only making the situation worse.

I haven't been following the news...is the show cancelled now? If so, I think it's the right time for it. Let's hope in a couple years time someone swings back to the belief that they can make TMNT...better.

Like Identity Crisis taught us, Turtles have offscreen adventures so maybe during this time Leonardo and Donatello, went to future and defeated Darius Dunn and convinced Dark TMNT to become good, stopped Shedder Wars, fought Karai, Bishop and Kahn while discovering his secret.

Meanwhile Raphael and Mikey tried to be superheroes.

How is this episode "odd" for this show?

There's been one superhero episode every season:

Season 1: Original TurtleTitan and Silver Sentry ep
Season 2: Justice Force ep with Steel Steve and Domebots
Season 3: Nobody's ep, Silver sentry in Christmas ep, and Justice Force in Triceraton eps
Season 4: Second Nobody ep
Season 5: Nano's ep where he joins them
Season 6: Turtle Titan ep in future
Season 7: This ep

Its sad that people find new ways to criticize the show for what has always been there.
