Well as I said many an occation on here, the only cool thing about TF Armada is the theme song(I mean its pretty much robots In Disguise: ie Pokemon) and my only complaint about the new TMNT is the theme song. Just was saying it would have been so perfect if the new theme song even came close to the rush of adrenaline of the original theme song. The new one is pretty disposable at best.

I don't really like the new theme at all. I actually agree with Beaker on this one. I'd love a more modern-like remix of the old TMNT theme. No lyrics, though, just an instrumental.

I'm going to answer anyway and say that the FoxBox CD theme was way better in my opinion. Yes, now you can pelt me with tomatoes and garbage.

Leo, what about me? I am a sexy Ninja Turtle! (Well, not really!) But I am a cool guy!

Okay guys (Beaker and Rez specifically), I'm going to have to ask you all to simmer down, or this thread will be ceased.

Your first and final warning. Thank you.

Am I the only one that thinks that the new intro could have been choreographed better? The intro animation to the original show can compete with most anime if you ask me. Afterwards it just went downhill. BTW whoever thinks that April is hot... needs some help.

Harm

Transformers had a really cool theme song back in the 80's. And yes, it is still alright today. But Transformers Armada is a disgrace to giant robots. The Turtles theme (new one) sucks hard. Everyone disagrees with me but I'm telling you they should have had some thrasher band or metal band or something that sounded really cool come in and just start jamming on guitars with a lot of bass. It needs a song that would not only wake my ass up from the catatonic state I'm in at 10:30 am, but also resurrect the dead from the grave yard across the street. So I decided to write my own song called "It's 10:30 on the east coast time to kick some ass with the ninja turtles"....

It would be some guy screaming for like 1 minute about how the turtles kick so much more ass than you do, and that if you dont buy the toys they'll come and beat up your grandparents.

'NINJA TURTLES!
KICK ASS
NINJA TURTLES
KICK ASS
NINJA TURTLES
KICK ASS
AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA

BUY THE TOYS
NINJA TURTLES
KICK ASS
THEYRE FOR GIRLS
AND BOYS
GO ON KICK ASS
IF YOU DONT
IM GONNA PUNCH YOU
KICK ASS

(REALLY BITCHING GUITAR SOLO)

NINJA TURTLES
KICK ASSSSSSSSS! (ENDS LIKE A SNAKE HISS)

the coolest part would be the animation during the theme, where it would be the Raphael bursting into a Girl Scout meeting and all the scouts would rush up to him and he'd be all pissed off and everything.

"Buy some cookies now dammit!" one would scream
but Raphael in a drunken berserker rage would punch them all and say something really witty at the end. And thats when you would know that every saturday from then on would be the greatest day ever.

Boy, I should lay off the dope...

Voltron...get help

Beaker: Sorry to have blown up like that...don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly thrilled with this new song either, but my whole point was it could've been much worse

Hmm, I just listened to the FoxBox CD version, and boy... was I disgusted. It sounds like the band that plays all the Power Rangers openings did it. What is this Malibu crap? The cartoon is supposed to be somewhat noir, and yet this song version sounds to me like a bunch of pineapples and palm trees. Don't get me wrong I dislike the intro as it is, but man... this version sucks.

We're wasting too much space on this topic You either like the song or you don't. It's difficult to sway people in one direction or the other when it comes to music. Armada sux, hard. The theme song is cool, but what good does a theme song do you if the show ia an abomination and sin against man.

The new turtles song ("for me") is just as cheesy as the old one, and as a result, I love it.

Hey we can all agree on one thing. At least Vanilla Ice didn't write it to appeal to the fans of the second movie.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cut like a ninja, slice like a razor Blade.

Heh... I didn't like the new theme at first, but now I really love it. And yes, I agree with Prowl too.
