where is Ryona when you need her? She is the leading authority on all things Leonardo, and can bite the head off of any infidel that would dare call Leo "dull"...

Leonardo is far from dull, useless, replaceable, etc. He is the anchor to the team. He keeps them grounded and focused when it counts the most. He keeps his cool and is level-headed even in the heat of battle.

He is able to think logically and also quickly on his feet to find their way of out a tight spot. His plans have saved them more times than they can probably count. It was Michelangelo who in fact commented in "Shredder Strikes Back Part 2" in the 2k3 series when Leo was incapacitated "So what's the plan? Leo's always the one with a plan. So what are we going to do without Leo to come up with a plan?"

They need his guidance and direction. He's the glue that holds them together. Watch the episodes "Scion of the Shredder", "Prodigal Son", or even the TMNT movie. You can see it clearly in those examples.

His role as leader is not an easy one. He does all this without thanks or complaint. He wouldn't complain because they are his family. He loves them, cares about them, and worries about them. He's responsible for their well being. He trains as much as he does so he won't fail them when they need him most and at times he's picked up their slack.

Some of you may think he's uptight, but walk in his shoes, or in his case shell, for a mile. You'd quickly understand. I do.

Leonardo is always good to loan you some cash. But you have to stand there and listen to him lecture about fiscal responsibility for an hour before he gives it to you
