Please excuse my bad english, i haven't explained well my idea: i dislike the series 1994 ---> 1995 because Shredder and Krang desappared and Dregg is very unsimpa, i dislike also the designs (character changed) and the dialogues.

Yeah, the mood changes totally and so do most of the characters look.
And the sky is OMG RED :p
Heck they even changed the theme song and added a villain i really hated called dregg.

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that, but in the later red sky episodes the turtles mutate...they kinda become hulk-ish

i actually liked that.

yes, i do wish the old show had a proper ending. the las the seasons were awful it lost the comedy, even when krang & shred were still there it got dark and not at all like the turtles should be. they should have kept em bright and funny, that's how turtles woill always be remebered

Yeh, i'm not totally biased, i like anything tmnt

of course i'll always prefer the old toon.
I'll see if i can find any dregg/mutation pics...if not, i guess i'll have to take em myself

I very much appreciate both. When I was a kid I didn't know about any version of the Turtles except the cartoon and the Archie comic. Then when the movie came out I was, oh, nine or so, and I was happy that the movie had a decent balance of humor and "maturity" so that my older sister who brought me to see it didn't want to leave.

Since then I've grown more aware of all the different versions of the TMNT and appreciate all of them for what they are. I'm not a fan of the new show or the old show, the cartoon version or the Mirage version or the movie version... there's stuff I love from each and stuff I really dislike from each.

I just prefer to call myself a TMNT fan and leave the schemantics up to you nitpicky people.

I know that there are many here who loves the old show, and many who loves the new show, but I doub't that there are many that want to see the new wave fail...

Yes, long live the true turtles! The new show is the closest form of true TMNT that has been made. So "let the new ones fall to the dust!" makes no sense at all.

It's obvious that Wyrm has still no clue that the old toon turtles weren't the original ones.
