I hadn't even thought about...I am new to the TMNT comic world and have read a lot about them and have purchased 1-10 from Volume 1 along with a few others, yet I'm confused about the books. Are they just collections of the comics or are they something totally different? Nothing I've read has totally clarified this for me yet, thanks for any answers you can provide.

I assume you mean the trade paperbacks. There's a whole section on them on Mirage's website. (Click a book's cover for more info.)

http://miragelicensing.com/comics/books/books.html

Challenges, however, is a graphic novel (standalone piece, exclusive content).

They're putting some of the rarer stuff on eBay themselves. Makes sense. Shell Shock and the original Tales trade are up right now. I already own 'em, but I'm hoping for them to sell a copy of the Tales Treasury Edition. :]

It's possible Pete's got one he'll be giving to Dan and Katie to put on eBay. Would be kinda cool to have one; the binding on the softcover edition is pretty bad. Possibly would've gotten the one Stephen Murphy put on eBay a few weeks ago if the condition were better.

It's probable that there are one or two copies of the hardcover book in the Mirage Studios archives (Dan tells me they have a few copies of just about everything there), but likely won't be sold, and for good reason. But you never know; Peter may go on a ballistic Turtle purging spree and want everything gone. :p

Just keep checking the Mirage eBay store and see what crops up.

I gave up on that HC. I always see it going for 500+ because it's so rare. I have the first 11 + 4 minis collected in 2 different books already, 3 if you count the colored ones. As cool as it would be to have it's just not worth the price.

The Leo busts are gone already Peter says. I thought I'd ask as Mirages site never put it up. But I bet others were asking in advance. I'd never have had a chance as Mirage no longer wants to ship internationally since they downsized. So thats Canada for me.

Yeah, too bad they don't ship outside the US.

I just received my order from Mirage: I ordered the Archie digests 2 to 7 and they threw in a #1 Archie digest too! What a cool surprise They don't have that issue available on their website though.

One person bought 7 of the statues, and another bought the last one.

& that one person will probably sell them all at insane prices like a total dickhead. I wouldn't be surprised if it were someone here notorious for it.

I thought the same thing. :/ Too bad Dan didn't limit them to one per person, even though that could still be duped.

Dammit. Why do such A-holes gotta ruin everything? I seriously doubt they're buying 'em all up to give to friends.

I didn't even think to ask Peter or Dan if I could buy anything before it gets put in the store or on eBay. I just assumed that that's how they would be purchased.

i figure we will know soon enough who purchased those statues - assuming they will be putting them for sale.

They don't want to send to international addresses 'cause it takes too much time to go and find out the shipping costs, the extra effort. Katie only works two days a week there. Several years ago Mirage didn't have a problem with international orders. With their downsizing they don't have the time to do such things anymore. However they are OK with still shipping comics internationally, just not merchandise. This sucks as I can't even try to get the A.C Farley TMNT poster, Mirage cap or the Ralph/Casey T shirt.
Cool that Mirage threw in the Archie Digest #1 to the other Technodrome poster. My brother wanted to get the Archie Digests #2-#7 as well, wonder if they'll throw in a digest #1? Wonder if this is among the stock Peter uncovered? Really sick that someone bought 7 of the Leo busts. How much are they apiece that one could buy 7 of these?

ok so who got Digest #1?

i recently put in an order to Mirage to get two Digests that i need, so kinda would be sweet if they threw in Digest number 1 for me
