ugh why would you want a Predator/TMNT crossover? Sometimes franchises are not meant to crossover even if you love both of them. In fact thats how I feel about all the Alien/Predator crossovers that are not Aliens vs Predators. Batman has no business with a Predator.

The original first couple of issues (v.1) comes to mind when I think of what these drawings remind me of...I thought that immediately upon seeing them. I would love IDW to get this guy for some issues.

Dark Horse does Star Wars, right?

Can we say, Leo vs. Luke? Shredder vs. Vader? Raph vs. Han?

No. No, we can't. In any case, I don't think there has ever been a Star Wars crossover with... anything, ever, has there been?

Plenty of relatively compatible properties that wouldn't seem jarringly out of left field.

Hellboy/TMNT makes sense. TMNT vs. Predator would work. TMNT vs. Aliens would be pretty neat and easy to imagine. Even TMNT/Conan might be workable in the same way the TMNT/Cerebus crossover happened.

Well, there's been Soul Calibur, or even more obscurely, Indiana Jones.

But yeah, Turtles/Star Wars sounds like an awful idea.

I really don't care much for "crossovers for the sake of crossovers", personally. Dynamite Publishing's Army of Darkness series pretty much killed any enthusiasm I could ever have for any crossover of any kind.

Still, if a crossover is done because the creative teams get together out of a passion for each other's property and think they have a genuinely good idea, then I'm for it. If it's just "Hey, let's have our characters meet your characters because OMG sales boost!!1!" then I'll pass.

Ever since I've become a Hellboy fan, I've wanted a crossover with TMNT. I asked Mike about it, and he said that he'd be all for it if Pete was. I asked Pete about it, and he said the same thing about Mike. Aaand I could never seem to get the two to talk to one another unfortunately -_- If this would have gotten published by Dark Horse, at least it would have been one step closer.

Ah well, I'm still looking forward to the IDW series, and a Hellboy crossover's still not out of the picture completely.

By the way, did anybody see the story Campbell had written up regarding Shadow meeting a female Triceraton? I liked the idea.

You're right, a Star Wars/TMNT crossover is too far fetched. Who would ever believe such a ridiculous thing?

And to be honest, I wouldn't actually want to see a SW/TMNT crossover, just thinking about what they could do if they ever dared to do it.

A Star Trek/TMNT crossover on the other hand...

I 100% fully endorse this idea!

If Star Trek can do a cross over with the X-Men why in the heck not TMNT!

How is a Star Wars crossover far fetched but a Star Trek one isn't?

Well one thing Star Trek has that Star Wars doesn't is a holo-deck/ holo-suite. Which allows the characters to interact with pretty much any thing there brain's come up with.
