It's really hard to choose just one. I can relate to each of them in different ways. And to say I value one more(or less) than the other feels wrong.

I chose Raphael in the end, I think there are more similarities to him and I than the rest. But I really like each turtle so much and what they bring to the team. It just would not be the same without one of them.

Yeah, totally sure THAT'S why. This is about long time favorite, not new preference. If that were the case my Paulsen bias would have pulled me towards Donnie.

Exactly. What kind of assumption is that, Mr.Turtle? Nobody here has expressed dislike of Leo because of Jason Biggs. Like Jester stated, this is about long time favorite, not Turtle-of-the-day.

Very true. I'm slightly shocked that Donatello is leading, usually he's last. Power to us Donnie fans!

I have a feeling Don is more popular in our specific fandom here on the Technodrome than he is in the general "casual" public.

I voted for Donattello.

I find him close to my own personality, plus he seems to be the calm within the storm out of the 4 turtles.

It was hard to pick between him and Ralph as they are almost at a tie with each other.

If I had picked Ralph, I would have to say that what makes him my second favorite would be that he's ah, um... sexy. He just has that vibe to me.

It was so hard for me to decide between Raphael and Donny!!!! I finally decided to go with Raph because as a kid he was my favorite. I can relate to him a lot. I had a bad temper most of my life, that I have had to concur. I can really understand the love/hate relationship with Leo because I had to grow up in my older sister’s shadow… She was one of those “perfect people” or so I thought. I also love his passion, and that he’s the tough guy….
Donnie would fall into second, as I got older I realized Donatello is the type of person I’d like to be…. I love his character. I love how he can fix things, I can’t think of anything I don’t like about the guy!
Mikey is third, but I love Michelangelo… He makes the show awesome and keeps it upbeat. He’s the kind of guy I’d want as a friend. He also reminds me of my youngest sister.
Last is Leo, my lest favorite. His character is necessary, but I don’t much care for him… I always felt he thought he was better that the others, but that’s just me I guess.

Needless to say in the cgi movie I wanted Raphael to beat the crap out of Leo, that was my favorite part.
My husband’s favorite turtle??? LEO!!!! I think he said that to annoy me…

Yeah, definently. Anytime I ask any girl if they know about TMNT and they say yes, I ask about favorite turtle and they always say Donnie.

But of course, I had to vote for Raph.

I think that largely has to do with the favoring of purple (and likewise, pink) by young girls. My sister's favorite was Donnie too, until I told her in my snobby 7 year old tone that she couldn't like him anymore because he was my favorite. She has since liked Mikey.

I believe purple became my favorite color innately to a degree, but I think I owe my favoritism of the color (I own a lot of purple) to my favoring of Donatello.

I'm cool with both "teams" getting proper representation, which is why I was pretty upset at IDW taking away the uniform red (or just have a look a Andrew's signature; that's pretty much how I felt when reading that scene). Now, Mirage is the only version with uniform bandannas throughout.

I enjoy both, but if I had to choose a side, it's Red Team all the way. To me, the coloured bandannas are a cop-out, an excuse to not have to draw the Turtles' faces to be unique from each other (though, contrary to my point, Mirage is the biggest culprit of making the Turtles wholly indistinguishable from each other; maybe that was intentional, but I still don't care for it).
