I mean not making him a cheap knockoff/replacement for the Shredder. Of Course they're nothing alike. But The Next Mutatuon was a cheap, largely unimpressive show filled with terrible choices.

right now the new show is showing capability to have multiple faction at work against the Turtles.

I see no reason why Dragon Lord need to replace anyone, be it the Foot or Kraang

The Dragons would be fine as an enemy faction that rivals the Foot and the Kraang. I'm sure there were a lot that were quite disappointed that they became the main baddies in TNM. Shredder would most certainly not tolerate an army of "freaks" muscling in on his turf.

Everything from Next Mutation should stay buried, no matter if the characters were written better.

I can see why you'd say that, but you never know. Look what IDW did with The Neutrinos. Like powder said, you're judging those characters based on their appearances in a sh*tty TMNT show. Any characters from TNM(except for Venus and The Rank who TRULY deserves stay burried.) can be improved if given:
-Better Writing

Yes, but if they are affiliated with the Purple Dragons, meaning that they are to regular Purple Dragons as the Foot Elite were to regular Foot Soldiers. I'd also like to see the dragon that was in the Usagi Yojimbo episode with the big red eyes to return as a bonus.

I actually liked the concept of Dragon Lord and the Rank. If divorced from Venus and the Next Mutation, they could be a very formidable foe for the turtles. I wouldn't mind seeing them again in some form.

Season 3 could work for this season 1 is foot and kraang 2 is strictly foot and misc villains season 3 could be foot and dragons come towards the end season 4 could be dragons and kraang returning and foot season 5 could be just dragons and kraang season 6 would be foot and dragons season 7 and 8 are all foot season 9 could be dragons and null with four horseman or something season 10 could be dragons get defeated and when they lose they ressurect shredder as a shark mutant shredder or something then its foot vs turtles and the finale could be like exodus thats my tmnt

I like dragon lords design, but the character sucked. Would he work in the nick show? NO. Would he work in the 2k3 series? YES. I think he seems suited to 2k3.

As far as things from the Next Mutation go the Dragons were one of the least objectionable elements of the show.

Actualy I wouldn't mind if the Dragon Lord from the Image series made a return in some form either. I always wondered if Warlord Komodo was given that name due to the Next Mutation series or it being a coincidence.
