Let me get this straight...you felt the need to make 2 threads...just because of a casting update that could have easily gone in the other thread? Oye.

I think the confusion for Powder came from the fact that there is a teaser trailer that has nothing to do with the above KickStarter. Which is why he said it's posted in 3 places. "The TMNT: Blood Brothers" trailer from the "Taking back the Sewers" people is a different project all together according to the KickStarter updates. Plus it's a different guy all together and there is only one of them.

He has some cool props, i'd be interested in seeing what he comes up with hopefully it can gernerate enough interest to be backed. Finally decided to help back it myself instead of waiting longer... Not a big fan of the OT but it would be neat to see what he does could be cool

Shannon Murray is HOT! And she has some similarities to Judith Hoag. I think she will make a perfect April O'Neil. Just saw that they added her to the cast.

I am not supporting this and did not post the info on Ninja Pizza (I got a request to) largely because the person behind it only showcased some props (albeit really impressive ones) and doesn't say anything about what this movie would be about or when it would be made. I can't ask people to give money to something that doesn't offer details about their intention to follow through. Also, as Powder mentioned, this is in very muddy legal territory. Seeing how he already went and made the props on his own dime, it would really be best to do the movie on his own as well.

NOW IT DOES. Everything is laid out for you. The indiegogo clearly states what the movie is about/storyline and what the funds will be used for and which characters will appear. How much more info would you like.

Yes I badly want to see a quality fan film. I think this guy has the best shot at it so far. I almost got it with Fight the Foot although Raph looked liked he had down syndrome and the plastron looked like it was made out paper mache. I thought I almost had the fan film I was waiting for when Casey Jones was released and then the final scene came with all the creatures and it was a huge let down. I really liked it up until that point. Thought it was well done beside the creatures. Nobody has been able to nail the creatures. This guys seems like he might pull it off.

My hopes for real life Turtles in the Michael Bay film are obviously shot down. I would like to see something really cool before it comes out so that way I won't be totally depressed that the Turtles are ruined with cgi and lack of a eastern influence. I'm willing to bet money one of the turtles fires an assault rifle at some point in the movie.

I see what you're saying on a technicality but really all that aside. You know what I mean. If you saw the Turtles in an actual TMNT movie shooting you know you'd lose your sh*$ or at least I would. That's why I support any well done effort by any fan to make a quality fan film. The more the merrier I say. I honestly think they are all good (with the exception of the taking back the sewers trailer, That sucked - I got the feeling they weren't even real fans but just hipsters trying to capitalize on the anti-michael bay sentiment)

I've been keeping an optimistic outlook on the 2014 movie since 2009. Heartbreaking update after update. William Fichtner as the Shredder was the last straw for me. That was the thing that finally made me say "okay ....I'm out"

Hardly. What's there is still laughably vague. The smallest "perk" is a DVD of the completed movie, and despite the good intentions of the film makers, there's really no guarantee that it'll get finished.

Since indiegogo takes your money right away and you have no recourse if the group doesn't follow through, now you'd be even more of a fool to offer these people any money.

I thought the Casey Jones movie and Fight the Foot were quality minus the creatures. This guy has creatures. It can be done. He could be the first. I hope he is but certainly not the last. I would love to be able to watch Turtle movies made by people who care online. I understand your skepticism though. But seriously Powder what did you think of Casey Jones and Fight the Foot?

How much more specific do you expect the filmmaker to get. Upload story boards and a script. Do you want a bunch of spoilers and take the fun out of it. Nobody else does that. You're being a little harsh don't you think.

There's no guarantee with KickStarter either. You just have to trust that they will follow through, that goes with any crowd funding platform. Although he does guarantee he will fulfill the perks. So you really don't have any valid points here. Having said that. I'm not going to argue with you anymore. You seem very hateful and angry in your posts about this all. You obviously have issues. I bet this is the highlight of your day - knocking people who try to make something cool. I understand some of the points the others made but none of them were nasty about it. Just you.
