I'm not a Micheal bay fan for how he originally wanted 2 change the story but hell I was going 2 see my favorite childhood movie brought 2 life again. As long as he doesn't last air bender it or do evolution I'm behind him 100%.

but what if they do dragonball evolution or last airbender it though. if it looked like things were going in that direction to you would you be ok with paying to support it. You're ok with a lot of so/so movies would you be ok with a lot of horrible ones. I wouldn't be. I'd rather never see them brought to life on screen again then have them be mocked and ridiculed. What's the point of having characters I love on the screen if I don't think they're being done justice. And no just because someones paid their dues in hollywood doesn't mean I need to accept their "vision." Who can say if they have any respect for the franchise or care about what they're doing beyond a payday. I'm well aware that its impossible to please everyone but that doesn't mean people shouldn't be allowed to express negativity if they don't like the way something looks. Its up to you to decide if their issues matter to you or not.if you're excited about what they're doing with this movie then by all means go see it by I don't think anybody should throw their support behind something they don't agree with out of brand loyality. It's not being a fan to take whatever they give because its better than nothing. That's called being a sucker.

Yea I agree with that, case and point the only thing I love more then tmnt is Batman( I'm obsessed I have a "batman" room lol) but you think I liked the Schumacher films?? HELL NO lol

I agree with yal though there is different kinds of fans some are just glad there going back to the big screen(me) and some that dislike it from the way it's promo, design etc. but I don't think that means one set of fans is more of a "true" fan then the other. It is what it is.

See is not that yopu HAVE to love every aspect of a movie its that you should Appreciate the fact that they are atleast trying to reach other potential fans. Say what you will About transformers But they did bring copious amounts of new fans to the franchise and there is nothing wrong with that.

And at-least you give the benefit of the doubt and actually see it, and then make a judgment. Some people just wont even think about seeing it.

and that's ok too. If some people feel like they don't deserve their money they shouldn't give it to them. Its up to them to sell you on what they've created. Period. If you think they haven't done that why pay them because you hope they might prove you wrong. As far as giving them the benefit of the doubt. Why? They're not doing this completely for the fans. There's a paycheck in it for
them. Whose to say what's the bigger motivation here. Maybe they are dedicated to making a movie that pays respect to the franchise and puts everything great about it on display. Or maybe they just want to make a decent action movie with a big enough name attached to lure people in and line their pockets. We don't know yet because we haven't seen enough. Until we do they don't deserve anythong

Miranda Cosgrove was found by a talent rep/agent when she was a little girl while singing at a restaurant with her family. Some people just get lucky and get gold handed to them on their lap. Thats the problem I have with this director he hasn't made any good movies, but only Mediocre (Mediocre=Average). This is my concern.

Because y'know, it took the rights completely changing hands and reverting back to the original owners for Daredevil to ever get another shot at film. :/

And I'm pretty sure it's not fair to say that real fans should have loved the 70s/80s Marvel films or otherwise they aren't real fans.
