Could you imagine!? Oh man, that would be a twist,

I could see them having one seriously injured but pulling through, of course, at the very last moment. It would be something to kill off Splinter - wow, that would cause some serious ripples.

Someone (I think Mikey) shouts out, where's Raph)

I'm wondering what happens to Splinter when the lair is invaded, does he get get away, he isn't seen with other 3 when they are captured.
Good point maybe they are separated by shredder, he may want them for different reasons or maybe its a simple as he actually is in that scene we just never got to see.

I'm just guessing but it looks like they're in new York when they get captured so I bet the mountain scene is them making their escape after raph showed up to save them from sach's evil laboratory. the escape from the lab in the blue door script happened in the snow if im not mistaken so I think it supports my theory

I doubt any will die, but I'm sure there will be moments where some of the other turtles might believe someone is seriously injured or worse. I can't see them killing any of the turtles off in the first movie (or April since she seems to be a main character). Now, Splinter-- maybe....

If the movies gets some sequels and does some time leaps, then sure I could see a turtles dying off later. But not in this movie. I would be really shocked.

Leonardo because he's the most difficult to write for the types of people behind this movie.

My guess is that Splinter might be killed off to save Michelangelo since he is careless. A valuable lesson will be learned where Mikey will take it out on himself for the master's demise.

The difference being that the Turtles (with the exception of the live action show) are four distinct brothers - where as there are a TON of Transformers, and minus the major players, Optimus, Bumblebee, StarScream and a few choice others, they are all really interchangeable.

Did anyone actually feel bad when Jazz died? My guess, no.

Will people burn the theater down if a Turtle dies? Almost certain, yes.

Comparing 4 turtles, to an almost endless supply of robots.... Yeah, none of the turtles are going to die. With Transformers as long as they don't kill the major characters, they can easily kill off some of the lesser ones and replace them with one of the 9000 robots they have in tow to take their spot.

What? Leonardo is probably going to be second behind Raph in stealing the show in my opinion.

No, but many people I know were pissed when Ironhide died.

I don't think any of the turtles will get killed off, I could see it being Splinter maybe ( Out of any one )

I could see what some are talking about, leaving people to think one of them died, Leo when he fights Shredder or whatever.

This. There are only 4 Turtles and they are not interchangable, unlike Transformers. So killing any of them is not an option.

very true, BUT id argue that people were Pissed because they grew to love Ironhide and his death literally came out of no where....it was a shocker no one saw coming

Hollywood screenwriter shortcut vision:

Raphael :tough guy, angry, main character fodder for some reason
Mike: party dude lolz!!
Don: tech guy, nerd talk etc
Leonardo: uh....honor? Silent I guess maybe? Whatever kill him for dramatic effect.

Well, same thing could happen in this. The movie is set up to carry 3 movies if the first one takes off, and they could very well kill of a character that we grew to love over two other movies. I honestly don't think they would be bold enough to kill off one of the Turtles, but, the movie going public has been crying for "dark" movies, and killing off one of the Turtles is about as dark as it could get.

ilike someone said earlier you cant have TMNT with out the core turtles...they are safe..now honestly Splinter, vernon even shredder i feel are fair game

aside from all its issues if they explain the mutation in the sequel to "fix" the turtles faces..(hey why not the transformers had new looks in all 4)

i would not mind seeing them deal with the Loss of Splinter

Has the movie audience been crying for dark movies lately? I haven't been a regular movie goer since 2010 so I'm not really sure anymore. I thought all the Batman stuff would satisfy people's dark cravings. Besides, Ironman seems to have gone over well (and the Avengers) and I don't know if that really qualifies as "dark."

I could see, if the movies extends beyond one, them maybe killing off someone (after aging them a bit).

None of the Turtles will be killed off.

I thought that was obvious.
